Price negotiated from MSRP

Upon giving your situation some further thought I don't why they are connecting the Affiliates pricing with ordering you a truck. The Affiliates pricing only comes into play at check out time. If what they are telling is true why did my dealer not even flinch when they ordered mine. I gave them my control number.

Tomorrow when you talk to them and they stand their ground find another dealer. If I got it right you live in Joisey so there must be a number of dealers within a thirty mile radius from you ( although it might take 4 hours to get them due to the traffic) go to another one.
Yeah. It’s weird for sure. If he refuses Monday I’ll just ask another dealer. I’m sure someone can do it.

I just bought a 2021 RAM 2500 Mega Cab Limited, 6.7 Cummings. $1,200 off MSRP. Had to travel 200 miles to buy it; also got a good price from my 2020 GMC Yukon XL Denali.

Looks like they may have walked their discount back a point. My 2021 was within a few thousands of point from 12.25% off. About a $600 difference.

Yep. But 11.25% in today's market is still a win. And if they still honor the $500 First Responder rebate then I'm pushing 12% ballpark anyway. With these market conditions, I'm pretty ecstatic to be getting this much of a price discount from MSRP without having to do anything resembling a song and dance at a dealership.

I was working a deal with a dealer about 3 hrs from me on an in stock '21 2500 cc 6.4 and they wanted 5K over MSRP + $1,800 for VIN etching something or another. I politely refused both of those markups and they came down to MSRP but would not honor any vouchers - not Penfed or even my $1,000 Ram pop up cash voucher. Even with the 20+ week wait, I think I'll order a '22 and not from those knuckleheads. From what I'm seeing here Mark Dodge seems to be a no BS type of dealer. Kills me to have to order from across the country but may just be worth it.

I'm to the point anymore that any dealership that even is still doing nonsense like trying to sell "VIN etching" is a 100% no go for me. I'll walk out and never set foot in there again, even if they are 5 miles from the house.

I think those should stack. When I was finalizing my deal/signing paperwork, my dealer asked me if I was military, a farmer, and one other thing. I unfortunately wasn't.

The PenFed does take 60 days, so hopefully you're either already a member or will be for 60 days prior to delivery.
How do you get a voucher from Penfed? Been a member for years. TIA.

Can anyone answer this question? If the dealership sell ram truck at ep do they get hold back from manufacturer?
