New 2022 5500. This wire is hanging down from the dash right above the emergency brake. Anyone know what it is for? I tried to follow it but couldn't see where it went.

This connector is starting to become like the tailgate removal cover lol.
It is the inverter switch connector for the ram box/bed mounted 120 outlet.

We need a generic, what is this part? sticky with all these listed...

That said, search would still go unused. ;)

if the forum developers implement a search service that works, people would use it. Until then you are better off searching “hdrams.com keyword” in google.

Even then, how do you search for “what is this connector” when you cannot identify the name of the connector, or do so without a hundred other similar connectors showing up? Even image search would be questionable here.

You could search by part #… but even then it would not be guaranteed that you would get an answer to “what is this” with the context of what it is for. You would get “it is a connector” answers.
