Damn. Looks like a lot of hassle. What you gonna be pulling with it? Mine came with goose neck prep package. I also opted for the lightweight 35LBS Andersen hitch for my 5th. Pulls my 11K Lb rig like a dream, made 11k miles with this set up without any issues.
For the fuel filters, I went with the G&R Diesel Dual Filter (fuel and water seperator) in the rear and used their engine mounted fuel filter delete block. For the engine oil, used the PacBrake kit (since they offer a mount for our trucks)..BUT since you turned me on to PPE stuff, I like their filter head mount better. I'll just re-use the PacBrake filter head mount. My truck's a money pit.."here take my money" Now im eyeing the Allision conversion ATS does...plug-n-play...
Good for you! Congrats on your bunkhouse. I also have a bunkhouse, but from KZ. Kids love it! We just came back from the Keys from spring break all the way to Chicagoland area, had a blast!!! Enjoy your rig when it comes in...Well, with life brings changes lol. Had I known we were going the 5er route I would have let the factory install the prep package. The truck is not my daily so the hitch will pretty much be in there for the summer unless I need to move something, in which case I have a clean bed. Bought a Reflection 298BH that I will be picking up in 2 weeks after a little golf getaway. I went overkill on the hitch but I scored it local on Marketplace for a good deal and it was the one I wanted. I do hear good things about the Anderson.

I put 87 fuel in mine, like a peasant, for the first time ever. They didn’t have 89 on Jekyll island and I needed fuel.
That’s crazy, can you even see past them to the right side of the truck?Setup my Bullet Point system for the RV GPS and rearview monitor.

I was looking into that recently. How do you like how it worked out? I have a galaxy z fold and nothing else so I was looking at the single mount with the tablet holder. Are you using the 7cm or 10cm arm with that haloview?Setup my Bullet Point system for the RV GPS and rearview monitor.

Found the VHT paint at Advance and painted the hubs today. Got a little excited and have a few runs. I'm dating myself, who remembers the Johnny Bench Krylon commercials, No Runs - No Drips - No Errors? I had some today.Use VHT Epoxy paint, I can get about 2 years out of a coat.
Working on a new solution for that lower bolt. Sourcing appropriate hardware has been a challenge. Finally added a compressor today. It's quieter than I thought it would be.
The dexterity required to install the screw that goes on the bottom of the NH Overland kit is no joke. It ended up being too long for me and I had to get a shorter one. Not sure if I want to add some auxiliary switches yet but I pulled some extra wiring just in case.

No desire to do that to mine, but I don't dislike it. Nor do I think it is silly. It looks fine and can't hurt anything. I suspect there will be some aftermarket light kits designed for that space that will start popping up soon.I took my 2023 hood scoop and grafted TRX lights onto it. Used the TRX harness tied into fuse 79 (clearance lights) and now my truck will look silly or potentially better at night. Hopefully it looks ok, the project was fun I learned some things and it would definitely look better next time. I can always buy the $30 stock scoop and put it back in if I hate the look. The only reason I went with the TRX lights is I wanted to make sure the color was the same as the clearance lights.
Seeing to the right is overrated. That’s crazy, can you even see past them to the right side of the truck?
I am using the 4cm arms. I tried the 10cm arms and it felt like the monitor was going to attack me, it seemed very close.I was looking into that recently. How do you like how it worked out? I have a galaxy z fold and nothing else so I was looking at the single mount with the tablet holder. Are you using the 7cm or 10cm arm with that haloview?
