Day 3 traveling the Alaska Highway was so nice. The roads weren’t bad at all. We saw a couple of Bison herds and probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Manchu Lake in the Northern Rockies. This is my second time through there and it is so stunning. Kevin seems content with the back seat mostly all to himself.

A two inch twin gel mattress and some old quilts and it is pretty much heaven back there... The flat floor option is good, if you don't have it, you can build one easy custom fit... I did that in the 1500...

Is there a template available for the 6-4 bed? I would like to cut some horse stall mats to fit around the fender wells.

Put her to work for a quick weekend trip with the family. Dense fog heading into Fort Mountain made for an intense drive up the mountain but pretty cool looking scenery.

Well, I didn’t do all this today, but I just bought the truck three and a half months ago…
  1. Roll-n-lock tonneau cover, because I transferred it from my old 1500 to the 2500
  2. Amp Research side steps (Because my wife is short and even though I‘m 6’1”, it is still a tall truck)
  3. Mopar Bed Step (Because I felt like an overturned turtle trying to climb in the bed while installing the tonneau)
  4. A passenger visor with lighted vanity mirror (Because my wife was bitterly disappointed the truck did not come with one…bitterly disappointed!!)

This is my favorite thread on all the other forums I’m part of it. I haven’t seen it on this sight. If I’m duplicating, I’ll delete! But here is what I did today.
I put on Diesel Fuel and DEF caps and called about Ranch Hand replacement bumper I’m ordering.View attachment 4679View attachment 4681
I recently put the exact same bumper. No close calls with deer since putting it on there of course

So the passenger vanity doesn't have a light? My wife will be livid!

Finally aired down my 35x12.5 tires. I've been driving (not enjoyably) at OEM pressure for the last 500 miles. It seems like I am over correcting to the left a lot so I figured it was time. 45 in front and 40 in the rear. I didn't chalk it, but the contact patch looks much better.

I will get around to updating the TPMS thresholds and getting a thuren spec'd alignment next weekend.

The Tradesman does not. That was literally the first thing she said about the truck after getting in the first time. True story

Everyone should make that drive at least once. I drove up and down the Alcan in the ‘90’s. Both times in January. It was the most beautiful trip I’ve ever taken

Drove her 1500 miles back from Houston to San Diego and did a solid clean up and decon, which required a heavy dose of bug remover to the front end. Added a few things to keep the black theme going. TInt is coming this week.

Retrax Pro XR bed cover
M6 1.00x25 black body bolt
Car seat for the one who's been asking about daddys truck more than me
MBRP exhaust tip and some high heat spray paint for the exhaust

I still don't understand the single factory stainless bolt in the front wheel well. It looks so odd.
What is the MBRP tip part number?

Just did my usual wash, tires cleaned and shined etc. Went over a friends house to show him the truck. I was parked near the road and a guy in a Ford F150 drives by, looks and goes up the road a bit. Next thing we know he backs up, opens his passenger window and says "well, I'm a diehard Ford guy but that is one beautiful truck". We ended up talking for a few, nice guy, maybe a convert now :)

I have not, but it’s on my list. I agree with your post!
