Got it washed and installed some Rokblokz XL mud flaps to try and keep some Of the crap off the sides of the truck.

Finally getting around to post the upgrades.... 2020 Tradesman 17k miles as of now.... Installed new color matched door handles with passive entry, Amp Research running boards, Amp bed step, Amp bed step 2, Factory LED Headlights, Cooper Rugged Trek 275/75/18, I also have the factory LED fog lights and correct switche sitting in a box waiting for some time to get it installed.

Can you post some clear, underneath photos of the side bed step showing where it mounted? I have 2 of these and when I looked at installing them on my mega cab, the lower control arm mount is right there so I am thinking these do NOT fit the mega cab. If they mount further forward it looks like they might interfere with the factory power steps. Not a big loss if I can't install them. Having the rear bedstep installed was way more important.

Thanks.

Installed AMP Research BedStep 75324-01A

No troubles with anything interfering and needing modification. The 2 large wiring connections could not be placed on the bracket as the instructions say to do because 1) The christmas trees are oval on these but the bracket has 2 round holes, 2) I don't think the lower one could reach it. They are fine where they are. I might get some zip ties around them and the bracket. The extra bracket didnt align perfectly but once the factory bolt was tightened it complied with where it needed to go.

Step is approx. 17-3/8" off the ground. My truck is stock suspension.

I drove mine over to my moms house to check on her animals.

While using the bathroom, I peeked through the window at my truck.

Anybody else love their truck enough that they look at their truck anytime they have a clear view of it?
Bet that wasn't the only peeking going on.

I looked at the truck in the driveway today. Not permitted to drive or do much as a result of planned surgery on Thursday. Will be laying low until after Xmas. Bilateral inguinal hernia repair. Laparoscopic procedure narcotic free but I still wouldn't recommend getting yourself in the situation of needing this done. Listen to your body and don't overdo it.

I must have something in the way of wax/coating on the truck. It was a mess from driving in the slop a few days ago and after last night's rain....it looks ok.

Will be keeping you in mind and hoping for you to have a speedy recovery.

Wondering .. Since it’s a bilingual surgery will you speak two languages after it’s over? :D

I just ordered them, still have about a week to go. I’ve owned Katzkin before they’re quality and a decent price. Front including middle seat and back for $1350 installed.

I pulled the hood badges off to put a thin line of black RTv around them to lessen the water that gets into the hood when it rains or I wash the truck. I used a thin trim removal tool and starting with the bottom worked around the badge pushing in the clips and keeping tension on the badge as I went. I still managed to break 1 of the 8 clips on the passenger side but it is pretty cold out and the plastic was probably pretty brittle because of that. 57A3CEF1-8EC4-4516-BC02-1D7B87EEC444.jpegA02D179B-C699-465E-B917-F2AEB6F3CBED.jpegB5DF13B5-3095-4741-BD52-0100E57BFCC8.jpegE0A86C6D-534D-4866-8D46-9813C86310B4.jpeg

I hope so.. I saw a super duty with the hood up yesterday (2008-2010 era) that was in for unrelated work at a friends shop and the bottom corners of the hood where the hood bumpers on the radiator support would hit had big rot holes from water sitting in there. I realize ours are thin aluminum and wouldn’t rust but future corrosion and possible bulging from the water freezing are concerns. I was able to see a slight squeeze out of rtv around the badge so it does look like it made a good seal and I had used enough product

Nice, sounds like you used the right amount. I’ve forgotten all about the water issue every time I’ve opened my hood, so I’m not sure if I get water in mine.
