1st oil and filter change at 7100 miles. I used Valvoline blue 5/40 synthetic and a Fleetguard filter. Changed out the Mopar air filter with a Fleetguard. Air box had a few bugs and leaves in it. Filter was basically clean, but lots of crap in between the pleats.

How big is the level? And what are the wheel and tire specs?

Looks good!

Thanks, I’m really happy with it. Front end rides so much better. Not as harsh and bouncy as stock. Back is about the same. The lift is Thuren 2”. Wheels are cjc edition 17” racelines. Tires are 35x12.5 nitto ridge grapplers

Ok, here you go. Same ramp. 4WD. Sway bar connected. Didnt get as far up before right rear came off the ground. Maybe 22.5 inche?
If the pole was not in front of me, I could have done more than 24" with the sway bar disconnected. So it does make a big difference.

Today I changed out the marker lights in the side view mirrors with a set of smoked ones from boosted auto. Cracked the drivers spotter mirror taking it off lol. Good thing the dealer around the corner had one… so much for my Black Friday discount. I also put on a matte screen protector on the 12” screen. Cheers!

Great minds think alike. Torn between black on black Saltas or bronze on black Method NVs. Not sure I want to go the powdercoat route again.
I was planning to powder coat the stock wheels. Any reason you wouldn’t powder coat again?

Na just some laziness on my part. Never had an issue with the powder coated wheels before. I love the Salta look but like the bronze wheel on a black truck a bit more. Just another truck project and tasking to add to the long list.

I put on the Bakflip F1 cover and weather tech bed liner off my old truck, also added new duraflaps. Oh and a $100 buck worth of diesel.

How long did you guys wait to put a lift on your trucks? I have mine coming in a couple of weeks and I’m torn as to how much time to leave it stock vs put the lift on the first week….. thanks in advance.

I ordered mine when I ordered my truck back in July so when the truck shows up at the dealership in a few weeks and as soon as I get home I’ll be installing the lift and also doing my line-X too

Cool, please do. Where did you get the weather stripping?

Im considering this cover. USA-made and I love how low profile it is. Which finish did you go with? The black matte, or the urethane?
I got the weatherstrip at Home Depot. The cover is matte black.

Powder coating voids the warranty on some wheels. The heat/baking of the powder coat may change the durability of the already heat treated aluminum……read this on the AEV site if I remember correctly. And it makes sense knowing a little bit about heat treating.

Powder coating happens at less than 400°F for like 15 mins. You could not even bake a frozen pizza in there with them at that temp/time

Heat treating aluminum takes about 900°F

You can powder coat with heat lamps too. Massive PITA to powder coat an atv frame with a heat lamp in case you're wondering.

Installed a set of Revel Performance Links on my dually air suspension today. Goal was to lower the loaded height of the back of the truck as my fiver is nose high. Unloaded no change in height due to leaf springs. When I select alternate trailer height I get “selected height not allowed due to payload “. Will know more when I tow fifth wheel. I did have to shorten the rods since they were as long as the OEM rods at the shortest length. No big deal. Cut off about 3/4 inch so they are now adjusted to 3/4 inch shorter than stock rods. Easy install. They are rediculously priced for what they are. They come out of Canada, so for you Canadians, I would call the number on the Revel Performance website to avoid the cross border issues in the event of having to return them. I received a pair that was too short and had to return them along with customs paperwork since I am currently in TX. To their credit, Revel Performance reimbursed me for the postage plus five dollars. The second set were shipped two day express and were correct. If installing these be sure to press firmly to seat the ball. These have a seal that goes over the ball and may trick you into thinking they are installed. Firmly pressing then snaps the coupler over the ball. Almost made that mistake.
