So from the videos I've been seeing both the 2500 and the 3500 are rolling on Firestone Transforce ATs... reviews seem marginal at best.

Anyone have any personal experience or perhaps suggestions for other tires?

I'm in the process of buying right now. I plan on running 285/75r18s so that limits my choices. I also want a tire with both a decent mileage guarantee and the 3PMS rating. That really limits me. There are many more choices in a 17" tire, but that would require new wheels as you know. I assume a 17" wheel will fit as it does on a '18.

All I'm seeing in your size so far is Geolander A/T G015 for snow and 5yr/50K mileage....

I am running Nitto EXO Grapplers. They have the snowflake rating, are studdable, and are very tough, with heavier sidewalls. They are not super noisy, and are wearing pretty well, even with my heavy towing. The Toyo CT would be their version, and my buddy has them on his powerjoke, with good results.

The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W comes in a 285/75R18, has a 55000 mile warantee, and is 3PMSF rated. It also has a reasonable price when compared to others. I may pull the trigger on a set.

I've had the stock tires on some soft, not muddy, roads and they are not good at all. They have little traction and were very unstable on a soft country road.

How many miles do you have on them? They appear to have decent reviews....how do you like them overall? It's not easy finding a tire in the 285/75-18 size.

I have a little over 6K miles on them...but these are P rated on the 1500.
I drove up to WI and back in Nov, hit some rain and went through some light snow on the interstate and they were find in both situations.
I don't notice any road noise, but the cabin in the 1500 is super quiet due to the Active Noise Cancellation.

I've ran the Transforce A/T on my company trucks, 2500s 3500s, F250s, F350s and one Chevy 2500 with decent luck. Mix of highway and oil field lease roads. My only real complaint was the rubber was to soft (maybe too hard?) and the tread chunked out. We're running the Cooper Discoverer AT3 now with great results, 75-80k miles with proper inflation and 5k rotations.

I've got the falken wildpeak on my 1500 in a 35x12.50. I have 13k miles so far and I love them. No noticeable wear so far and they're excellent in the snow.
I'm going with nitto ridge grappler on my 2500 in a 35" when it arrives.

I'm probably going to order a set. I won't be home for another 5 or 6 weeks, so the wait is going to be tough. I guess it won't be too bad though.....I do have my truck.....

Nice... I'm looking at the Geolander AT G/105 and the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT.
The more I read about these Firestones, the less impressed I become...

I may have posted this earlier, but they are not good in soft stuff. I was on a soft gravel road and the rear end of the truck was sliding all over. 4WD made it much better.

On the other hand, they seem fine on the road both wet and dry.....just not so good in the soft stuff.

Well not terrible news then... most of the comments I've been seeing is that they are generally bad all around.

If I had no plans to use the truck in the woods, I would probably left them on. But I think any kind of off road use would require something else....at least in my world!

Howdy,
OK, looking for some ideas.
2019 Ram 2500 Limited, 6.7L diesel, CCSB with rear air suspension.
Factory 285/60 R20 TransForce A/T

I have to replace these highway tires...
What size options are a good to go right now?
Factory 285/60 R20
1 bump 295/? R20
2 bump 305/? R20

Haven't decided about keep factory rims, or get new rims. Haven't thought about any leveling either..

I am interested as well. No plans for a lift/leveling kit. How big can you go before rubbing?

They fit well with plenty of clearance, do not rub, and seem to be very quiet. The odometer is off 5%, but the speedo is only about 2 mph slow at 70. All in all, I'm very satisfied. I hope they are good in the woods.
