I just went with some cheap ones off amazon. They get the job done and look good. I won't be surprised if they only last a few years.09C60879-0535-4A16-9D98-78A097DA064F.jpegCA0CB302-9C87-4434-88AF-2EA923200562.jpeg

I ordered the black wheel to wheel length that come on the midnight edition. Very happy with the look.

Did you ever get a response from RBP on this? I just discovered this today while attempting the install. Going to have to wait until monday at this point to see what they have to say. I believe the front right & left mounts need to be swapped to the opposite sides and the motor clocked different to fit under the body mount.
Not as yet. They were hoping to have a fix about a month ago but no updates.

See #18 & 19 in this thread. It has info from RBP about their fix for this as well as what I did to make them work.

Yeah, I spoke with the 'customer satisfaction manager' (been a little bit but I think that was the title he gave me when he called) and he gave me the temp fix to move the canisters to the back 2 bolts. They are on and I love the look and function. Just not a fan of the temp solution. I'm 'on the list' for the permanent fix.

Got any pictures of how far down your rotated motors sit and did you have to splice in any extra wire to make the harness reach? I was looking at doing that myself when I was first trying to install but feared it would hang below the frame rail and get ripped off while 4 wheeling.

I rotated the motors 72*, which is the next increment the mounting holes will allow. I swapped the front mounting brackets to go on the opposite side intended. This places the motors under the body mount instead of the canister. The attached picture compares the rotated motor (in front) the the original position. I did not have to modify the original harness in any way

Thanks! Looks like I may have to get under there before it gets too cold here and try this out. I really don't like having the canisters on with just 2 bolts.

I feel Dodge mounted the canisters where and how they did for a reason. This is why I went through the effort I did to swap the mounts and rotate the motors.

They look great, Have you got a part number or a link to where you ordered these?
The running boards are numbers 6MP94KXJAA and 6MP95KXJAA (left and right, not sure which is which). The mounting hardware is 68193128AB. I went back to the dealership I purchased the truck from, which is not my home dealership. My home dealership told me they weren't in the Mopar accessories catalog and would not help me further. They are very pricey, so you've got to REALLY want them. I really like that they tread matches the tread on the back bumper and the all weather floor mats. It's the extra sort of detail I appreciate. The "list" cost is $944 each, and the dealership charged me $750 each. I think if you added them when you built the truck it was an $800 option. I don't have much of a relationship with the dealership where I bought the truck, and subsequently the running boards, as they are about 100 miles away, so I have no idea if they were giving me a good deal or marking it up because they don't expect future business from me.

Thank you, great info. They do look great but man that’s pricey!

g33k247 just saved you $240. I think the chrome versions were significantly less expensive, if that is an option for you. I'm personally moving away from the chrome as much as I can.
Thanks for putting that together, I just dropped 50K yesterday on a black big horn. I'll have to find something a bit cheaper. I'm kinda amazed it didn't come with steps for that kind of money.

I went round and round with this.. bought some Iron Cross ones and they were crap. The brackets were incredibly flexible. Then went to Rough Country and the boards were backordered, but I got brackets. I used the better brackets to mount my Iron Cross boards and they are simply ..ok.. still way too much flex. Luverne appears to be the only one that uses the holes the factory mounts do at the bottom of the sheet metal to mount the boards. This makes them significantly less flexible. I have a buddy with Luvernes and a buddy with stock tubes, both are significantly better than my mutt job. If I had it to do again I would have simply bought OEM tubes.
