Side camera on with turn signal?

Hmm..curious- can you grab some screenshots of what’s in your camera menu, and what’s in the safety driving assistance menus?

No auto front camera with park sense either. They don’t clarify what the equipment requirements are for those features, but would think just surround view is needed. Could be that a Nav equipped radio is needed, as I do notice that radio module part number is different from last year.

Probably should've paid attention better when ordering. Figured having all the cameras it would've been there. You don't think it could be enabled with alfa OBD? Either way, I'm still beyond impressed with this truck lol.

Not that I can see. Until I can get a good BCM log and backup file from someone that has the feature, I won’t know. There are still a few reserved settings available in the CustSetMenu 3 on CDA6, but I’d have to do some comparisons to figure out which one it might be.
Do you have AlfaOBD? If so, can you share your BCM system ID read and backup file to me via google drive?

I just checked and it’s available on my truck. Are you sure it’s not available on yours?
Mine has three choices- off, enabled, and trailer only or something along those lines.

Yes (and I have long since disabled it once I realized how useless it really is), but need more info on your truck, model year and which radio you have.

I find it useless when driving normally, but it’s helpful when towing my travel trailer.

Sorry for the delay, I have 2022 Ram 2500 Limited with 12 inch screen. I can click 5 bottoms to turn it on everytime I turn and it's really helpful. It would be nice for it to show the camera with the turn signal.

Does it use the 360° cameras that are under the mirror, or the cameras inside the mirror for backing a trailer? That may be the confusion with why it’s not in settings. You can have the 360° cameras and not have the cameras inside the mirror.

I have cameras under the mirror. Don't know how I can tell if I have cameras inside the side mirrors. I would be willing to buy the 2023 mirrors and upgrade to Uconnect 5 if that's the way to get the feature to work. I have 37s and a 3inch lift so it's hard to see cars in the blindspot in heavy traffic

You need Uconnect 5 and a 2023 bcm for the turn signal cameras to work.
