First diesel, coming from back to back TRXs which were the best all around vehicles I’ve ever owned. The 8mpg was just the killer. Picked up this 22 Laramie sport and am enjoying it so far. Don’t need a diesel but getting 17-18mpg for the driving I’m doing is certainly nice. Done the normal stuff, 5% tint, mudflaps, conditioned leather, all weather floor mats, car seat protectors. Ceramic coating coming soon. Level wheels tires next Friday. Also added chrome side steps. Have a set of flat chrome ones on the way to decide which ones I like more.

First and last time paying someone to come wash my truck while I’m at work. I wash my truck once a year, in October. This guy did my neighbors car yesterday and she recommend him so I tried it.

Overall it looked super shiny but that’s because he used 7 gallons of armor all.

I’m fuming mad that he covered all of my trim, my flares, bumpers and my side steps in armor all. Who puts armor all on running boards? They’re slick as snail snot it’s ridiculous

I spent 30-40 minutes wiping it down the best I could but I certainly won’t call that guy again.

It also attracts dirt. I'd powerwash that garbage off. Clean the driveway smears too.
Yea I think you’re right I need to rewash it. Wiping it down it’s like a duck in a dawn commercial. Luckily it was locked so he couldn’t touch the inside.

At least clean the wheel wells if you're going to spray **** in them. UGH!!! I used to detail cars and Im super OCD about it, nothing worse than this type of detailing.
Good news is there are some ways to remove it... Get some degreaser or APC, spray it on your rag of choice and it should remove most of it. I would wash the truck AFTER you do this step as you dont want APC sitting on black paint. Once its dry, Iso alcohol to remove the last bit of it. Then you can use some semi-permanent trim coat to keep it looking good but not greasy.

My ‘22 Longhorn mega cab. Also my first Ram. Been driving Powerstrokes since 2004 and I’ve had 7 of them in that time frame. So far, I’m loving this one. The interior is beautiful. Just had the tint done. Level, shocks, and tires are on the way.
