We had like a $.60-.70 over night increase last Thursday to Friday for Diesel. Big single day over day increase ever. Last time even close was melt down of 2008.

It was hovering around $3.80-3.90.

By Friday it was $4.49-4.59 depending on part of town.

As of last Thursday Sam’s and Costco Diesel was $3.69. Not sure what it is now.

Gas buddy is having a melt down. Not even reporting.

At least it’s available to buy. If it gets to the 70’s rationing point we’re gonna have a real sitch on our hands.
I lived thru the 70s gas rationing. I remember in Texas it was based off off the last number in your lisence plate. Even number or odd number corresponded with even or odd day.

If it gets too far off the rails, it will be moved to OT.

There's already a thread there if anyone wishes to express their frustrations with the current political climate or administration.

Yes, gas prices are a hot button political topic, but the OP only asked what your local price is.

Let's please keep the politics of it out of the general forums on this here Truck site.

Let's also keep in mind that a very large percentage of the membership here is not in the US and may not care to hear about our politics.

I dusted off the Harley the other day, if Diesel gets any higher, I'll be driving the wife's Highlander. The problem with that will be the wife will not have any transportation while I'm at work.

Hey, if the shoe fits, wear it, political or not, someone made a lot of money with the change from US produced oil to Russian oil, I wonder who that would be?

Houston/Nacogdoches here.

Average is around $4.40-$4.50 between the two. Seen it higher some places but I have yet to see $5 diesel though.

Managed to find a Chevron with diesel for $3.55 and filled up immediately. Went to get my father's truck since I was visiting them and it went up to $3.65 in less than an hour by the time I got back to the station.

Next morning they were also up around $4.45

I also tried using GasBuddy like normal. Totally haywire.
