Upper Pillars and headliner are black on sport and night edition. They’re an off white tan color on other packages.

2019 you could only get the night/midnight on black, no other paint colors.

Not entirely true.

My 20 Limited has all black interior and the Night edition wasn't yet offered.

Yes but sticker comes off clean and easy according to some who have removed it.

I ended up just ordering the Sport and got the black interior. Looks like my truck will have the black surround but chrome grill but I have not seen it yet. If the chrome mirror tops bother me too much I can try Hyperdip I guess. I just decided right before the Night Edition check box that I had to stop adding options someplace! ;)
Ive been turning mine into a night edition. Bought a set of wheels and tires off Craigslist, plasti dipped the badges, have a set of black step bars and I’ll probably wrap the mirrors. I’ll probably spend less than $300 when I’m done buying and selling. Not going to mess with the grill.

Once you go black........... The headlights and tail lights are much better looking on the Night Edition IMO. Many people have gone to the expense of changing out their standard lights for them. I didn't care about the wheels as I knew I would be replacing them. They are sitting in the garage waiting to be sold. On my sticker, aside from the black accents, the following was also added under the NE for the Laramie:
Power Folding Black Trailer–Tow Mirrors w/ Memory
Mirror–Mounted Auxiliary Reverse Lamps

I just liked the Bad Assery of it all. My wife did too so that sold it.
When you talk about the headlights, are you talking about getting the LED light upgrade?

What is night/midnight? Are you saying you could only get the night package on black in 2019?

Go with night. I had an 05 and hated the chrome bumpers and grille. I ordered a 14 Sport 1500, and had a black honeycomb grill and black emblems off an express night edition waiting when it came in. Picked up a night edition dually last week.20210415_131255.jpg20210329_141347.jpg

That might be the coolest looking dually on this forum....... I hadn't seen a white, dually, night edition yet.

Maybe the difference was when it was introduced for Big Horn, Laramie, Limited, etc...?

So it looks like this was actually a 2500 vs 3500 thing (also Limited thing).

My 2021 tradesman has an all black interior too, although I didn't know that's how it would come. I just ordered the base interior.
