Question about running board parts.

In the standard diagram, item 2 (electric) has a breakdown of all parts including the end caps. Items 3 and 4 they don't have a part breakdown. I really need an end cap but can only see a listing for the full unit. Does Mopar really not sell just the end caps for the wheel to wheel running boards? I don't think they are the same as the electric units.

Here are all of the part numbers they have listed for the running boards & side steps. If you can't find the part here, they probably don't sell it by itself. If you can't find a suitable off-the-shelf substitute, I'd find someone with a 3D printer and see if they can make one for you. I'm assuming the endcap is made of ABS, put I'm sure PLA (a more common 3D printer filament choice) would work also. There are places out there that will 3D print a part for you, but you would have to send them a CAD file. Fusion 360 is a good software choice (it's free and good), but there is a learning curve. If you don't plan on designing another thing again, you can take measurements with a caliper with what you want to duplicate and check out Tinkercad. It's a free web-based CAD platform that is pretty easy to use.

Yep, thats the diagram I was looking at. Odd thing to not sell considering how easy they pop off. But thanks for confirming. It's a pretty fancy chrome plastic part. With enough work could make one but will probably try to find a used piece somewhere. It's not one of those super critical things, but would be nice to have.

The second VIN you included is a MY2022, I only have up to 2020 and a few early 2021s. Hopefully you can look through the attached files and use the sales codes to verify what you've already found. If it becomes too much to go through, find a 2019-2020 that has the exact parts your looking for and let me know. That way I can query that truck and filter out all of the parts not used on that particular truck.

That's not an "upfitter switch." That's the standard piano key buttons.

Are you looking for the exact replacement, or the AUX Upfitter switch panel to match, as in you're doing a DIY Aux switch add on?
