Front park sensors alternative when adding fog lights

I just wanted to share this in case anybody found themselves in the same position I did. I recently added stock LED fog lights thanks to @Linked4door and he also included his bezels which had the provisions for the front park sensors. As soon as I knew I would have those bezels to play with, I started brainstorming ideas to make use of the holes for the park sensors as my truck doesn't have them. I could have simply ordered the bezels without park sensors, but that wouldn't have been any fun.

Anyways, I found these 1" hole plugs at Ace hardware that snapped in perfectly and then some 3/4" smoke lense amber LED marker lights. I used those to make some additional flashing lights to go along with the rest of my strobes on the truck for when I'm backing my trailer in off busy intersections and have to block traffic. Here's what I ended up with, and it was a fun project all together. Thanks again to @Linked4door !

Thanks man, one of these days when I can get my truck clean enough I'll give the re-badging a shot.

What part numbers for the actual foglights? I have the rest, the bezels and brackets.

TIA

When I was researching these I made a note of the part numbers, although I didn't actually order these but got them from a member here. I believe those part numbers are correct for the stock LED fog lights themselves.

Fog lights right 68273292AB left 68273291AB

Thanks! Do they point/shine forward or are they like 45 degrees out to the sides?

They shine straight forward and far to the sides! I would say about 45 degrees. That was the main reason I wanted the stock LED fog lights was to give the stock halogen headlights some help at night. They should light up ditches pretty well when we go camping or up to our cabin and help keep an eye out for wildlife around the sides of the roads. I haven't driven the truck much at night since the install but I'll try and get some pictures soon. Also, there's plenty of videos on YouTube showing these lights at night if you want to check them out. I specifically remember one from JB Reviews channel awhile back where he switches his fog lights on and off while driving at night to show the difference. That video is what sold me on getting these eventually, which I finally got around to.

OK, thanks for the answer. They do the same for me and I was hoping that they were more forward and less sideways and I got some fluke.

I will say that LED bulbs in place of the halogens in the headlights made more impact than these did for me.

Good to know! I plan on doing the headlights at some point using the Laramie reflector LEDs but can't justify the cost just yet.

I know some here have done the aftermarket fog lights and from what I gather those are more directional towards the front and a lot brighter than even that's stock LED fog lights. You would need the halogen bezels though.
