I know the news is always 100% accurate:rolleyes:…. But the article did say “The 960,000 vehicles have been recalled”…

With the amount of DEF I use I’m sure my NOx is acceptable, lol.
Just a guess as Jay P suggests, not released yet. I checked my 2019 recalls and the only thing I saw was the VB6 Emissions Diesel Engine Calibration recall was done in early 2020 when the dealer still had it. Guess will find out!

The 2019 to present emissions do seem to be pretty screwed up, main reason why I dumped my 2021 3500

Probably why a lot of us are we’re having these frequent regen issues. They removed the defeat device/software and now these engines can’t function properly.

Was thinking exactly what @DougB said. You don’t hear of too many pre 2019 trucks having emissions issues. I miss the diesel power and torque but enjoying the simplicity of the 6.4 Hemi.

The statement involves 6.7’s 13+, so that’s probably not the issue.

Clarifying… If they had cheater devices or tunes going on from 13-19 and less of those trucks had emission issues compared to 20+ trucks, that would make sense to me. Everyday on the FB pages you see multiple people with DPF issues. I guess I can argue against myself and a good portion of trucks 13-19 are probably deleted already. Trying to make sense of it all based on what “data” we have to go on

Still, it says 13-18 and 19-23.

I’d be surprised if 10% of the 13-19 trucks are deleted, which is much lower than a good portion.

Ah! I read one posted on FB that didn’t have those years, now I know why you were pointing that out. Probably sitting there saying look at this dummy hahahah

I did the same thing on TDR with 13-18, totally missed it when I read it.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the fix looks a lot like the VW and Mercedes fixes: software changes leading to a reduction in power.
That’s what fast lane trucks is saying is prolly gonna happen
