Has anyone done a column to centre console swap in a 5th gen Cummins 2500? I’m looking to swap mine as I’ve seen done in 4th gens before. The only 5th gen with a centre console shift that I know of is the TRX so it would have to be a trx shifter and possibly console?

Can’t be done. The CTD uses transmissions that have a mechanical linkage to shift. The TRX and GT with the console shifter use electronic shift transmission, so there’s no physical link from the shifter to the transmission. It is all done by communication over canbus.

I wonder if it could be done with a cable shift setup it would be a bit of a project though
There’s the 2009-2013 1500 center console shifters that people were swapping into the 4th gen CTDs, but not quite as fancy looking as the TRX shifter.
