Anybody have 295/65r20 on stock wheels? Very curious whether they rub the radius arms and how it looks?

My Toyo RTs rub the sway bar slightly

I’m putting a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ 295/65r20 on my night package black wheels. I installed two of them temporarily and they rub on the radius arm and on the sway bar with stock ride height. I’m scheduled to install a 3” lift so I’ll see how bad it rubs after the lift.

On my previous RAM 2500, I had the factory 18" wheels with 35x12.5 toyo's and they rubbed the radius arms. Other than that, it performed/handled well with them. I would love to raise the front just 1" and get some 2.5" shocks all around and get some bigger tires. Will probably stick to a 285/65r20. Would be AWESOME if AEV (or someone) would make a 18x9 or 20x9 wheel with about 40mm offset and allow me to use stock lug nuts... Interestingly, the new Chev ZR2 has 18x9 inch wheels from the factory with a 305/70 (roughly 35x12.5) AND AEV makes a wheel for the ZR2 that is also 18x9. But, for the RAM, we have to drop to a 17x8.5 with 27mm offset, if we want an AEV wheel....

I put 35 12.50 / 20 Toyo Open Country AT3s on my stock rims. I got a little nervous and used that as an excuse to put a 2 1/2 leveling kit on, with 1 inch in the rear. That eliminated any chance of rubbing.

What about rubbing on the radius arms? that's where my 35x12.5r18 on stock wheels rubbed... Your setup looks great

29565r20 nittos, recon grapplers. They will touch the radius arm at full lock, really unnoticeable when driving but you can see the marked paint. air ride truck stock suspension and sway bars.

Rubbing on the sway bar and radius arms (where oversized tires rub with stock wheels) isn’t eliminated with a lift, it’s done with different backspacing on the wheels.

No backspacing. Stock wheels and no rub.
