We’ll, we now know why the Rebel with the Cummins has such a low payload and towing, it’s got a GVWR of 9680 lbs.

The Rebel with the gas engine is not listed separately, so that leads me to assume it has the same 10k GVWR as a “standard” 2500. That’s just an assumption until we see an actual truck and its sticker, but it matches with the posted numbers for the truck. It also lists the 8 speed transmission with the Cummins, which has got to be a typo since they’ve already shown it with the 6 speed.

I wonder why it would have a lower GVWR with the diesel?

I'm still going with the rear locker is the reason. It appears to be the only thing different then a standard Diesel 2500. Unless they have gone with a softer rear spring but I would expect that would be the same situation with the hemi version as well.
