Yeah, I'm one of those stuck (for 33 days now) at the offsite vendors. It's not the waiting so much as wondering what piece/part that's holding the final production up. Oh well, cie la vie!

Most likely its the chip..... they have been having problems with getting the chips from Asia

Granger was the best option, but now i have to consider the deductible (100, 200, or zero deductible). maybe the 100 is in the middle but does that mean i pay 100 for every time i have to bring it in for anything? of course, I hope I never need to bring it in except for routine stuff, but my luck has never been that awesome.

Actually, I think I'm going to NOT waste the money on the extended warranty and keep putting money aside. Just doesn't seem feasible.

I don't want them cleaning it at all. I have a detailer I go to and I don't need to give him the extra work repairing the swirls and broom scratches before ceramic coating.

I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT. CERAMIC COATING IS EXPENSIVE.... I MAY NEED TO GET ANOTHER JOB (MAYBE LIKE YOU HAVE), BUT I'M HAPPILY RETIRED NOW.

I'm one month from order confirmed to scheduled. Build has not started yet but it seems 10 days from being scheduled is the trend. Other than the random trucks stuck at off site vendor the rail yard seems the biggest hurdle once scheduled.

I ordered the Aux switches which I read cancels out the rear trailer reverse. Can anyone here verify that? I do not want that useless knob in my truck lol

Yes, the Aux switches take up the space for the trailer reverse knob. I initially wanted both, but the switches were a "must have" for me. If needed, I can always practicing backing my trailer, especially when camping season starts

Looking at the zero deductible/8 years I am tire kicking instead just putting $5000 into a Roth as a dedicated truck repair fund and investing it in broad index funds for the first years and adjusting the investment choices as it grows or putting a trailing stop loss on it in later years. So it would first sit untouched during the 3 year warranty. The principle then can be drawn anytime, the earnings after 5 years. And it would be tax free. And it is good timing for starting it being in a recession currently. Would that beat the warranty in the long run? Don't know, but if I don't use it all, it's my money and any I don't use would compound over time instead of vanishing at 8 years.

Does anyone with a PW or rebel order with two tone paint show that on their window sticker? My equipment listing shows two tone paint but my window sticker just shows the primary color.

I'm not exactly worried just wanted to make sure this is normal.
