Can I tell myself that ram doesn't finish the external vendor stuff too quick if they know the truck is going to just sit waiting on a rail car anyway? Asking for a friend whose truck left the assembly line two weeks ago.
Odd that yours is being held up they are pretty close in build mine shipped and has a eta of march 22 still no window sticker left message for BRV10 see if he has any intell

Dealer told me there's a recall on Diesel trucks. (I could not find anything online, but apparently replacement parts are going to be an issue)

Unclear how it may or may not affect vehicles in transit. For sure factory production will take a hit.
Unclear how it affects my truck at this stage (in the black-hole zone, waiting to be delivered to the dealer)

Not the greatest news.

Edit: found this https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/recalls/search.html and this https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/vinLookup

They’ll keep building them. Dealers won’t be able to sell the ones that show up and are affected by the recall until it’s taken care of.

Mine has moved quickly since finally getting past C status:
VON: 57158462
VIN: 3C63R3ML5PG509734
C: 9/26
D1: 1/31
E: 2/13
KZ: 2/14

I assume this means we're just waiting on a train now? Any way to accurately predict transit time to Granger from this point? Tracker lists ETA as 4/9 but I've heard these ETA's aren't reliable?

From the Stellantis media site, FCA recall 13A. It appears to affect some of the HD in transit, but seems to imply they no longer use the previous gen heater-grid relay that's causing the recall:

And from the Mopar recall lookup (using a random VIN from a 3500 Laramie that shipped in January:

I feel like I'm behind the current glut of guys that are trying to get train schedules and such, but I couldn't find a solid answer to this looking through the thread. I was told on 2/14 that my truck was in Production 2/13. As of today (the 16th) it still shows the same thing. Once you hit being built, doesn't it pop out the other end as " built" in a day typically? Or is it not 'Built/ Complete' until it gets all the vendor stuff installed? I have a bedliner and steps, so I know I'll have some more waiting for it to get to the transportation stage. Looking at the tracking spreadsheet, some trucks seem to go from 'In Production' to 'Built' the next day while others seem to get stuck in that Production status for a week. Hopefully the fact mine hasn't moved yet doesn't mean its sitting in the re-work inspection bay at the end of the line.

Last year, when I was ordering my 2500, they were building 3500s like crazy! This year, it seems like the 3500s ain’t being built at all lol

I'm trying not to complain. Seriously. This process has gone much quicker than I expected. Especially after looking at last year's post's from people. My vehicle situation is just 'dire', to say the least. My daily driver (jeep grand cherokee overland) has been in the shop for 3 months waiting on a PCM. My back up driver(2000 dakota) is literally on its last leg. It was kind of fun driving it at first. Now it's just old. Need this truck asap.

mine was ordered on 2/2 but they changed the color to silver after confirming granite so they had to cancel and reorder on the 5th. I was worried that those 3 days would make a difference in wait. lmao
From reading some of these posts I'll be ecstatic if I get it before the 24 model ordering starts

Our trucks are so close in build (only trim and night edition) that they are almost twins. You ordered yours 1 day before me, but we have been tied at our wide hips (dually) through the whole build process. I know I have been sitting at the outside vendor since 2/8, and I have a sneaky suspicion our trucks are hiding out there together throwing party's every night and spending the days hungover waiting on some elusive part. Maybe a bolt to hold on our sidestep, or a new nozzle for the sprayer for the bed liner...who knows. Only time will tell  Hang in there...

AND THE HITS JUST KEEP ON HITTING...UGH!

I just went to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website (https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls) and ran my VIN for my truck sitting at the outside vendor and --------------- wait for it --------------- it is affected by the latest heater grid relay recall! And according to the NHTSA recall, there is "...no remedy yet available."
