It's finally arrived but with damage in transit. It'll be getting a new rear bumper in the coming days before I go pick it up.

So with no updates on my truck that supposedly shipped May 13, I’ve decided it’s time to move on. I found a similar truck in Virginia that I bought and will be flying out to pick up Thursday.

This process has been awful from the beginning.

Initial order: Sept 2022
Ram changes Larmie Level 1 to Level F and cost remains the same. Dealer can’t confirm what has been removed so after much frustration I reordered a limited 12/31/22 with another dealer.

13/31/22 order seems to proceed normally, built in early march and shipped May 13, then nothing. Ended up canceling all my summer family trips as I kept expecting it to arrive and it never did.

The most frustrating part was that I could never get any answers from anyone except some info from @brv10. Without his help I’d have absolutely zero info. If the dealer could’ve provided some sort of update, like what happened to it, where it was at, when it would arrive that would’ve been great. At least I can plan then.

I really can’t say enough bad things about the experience and hope I can get 15+ years out of this truck so I don’t have to go through the process again.

Ram/Stellantis you’re terrible.

Sounds extremely similar to my saga. My original abandoned truck had a delivery date of yesterday - now it doesn't show up on the dealer website at all so maybe it fell off the train. Who knows.

Hope you enjoy your found truck, I'm 100% convinced I made the right move even though it wasn't exactly what I ordered. Just having it the last few months has been more than worth it vs. the uncertainty.

Crazy to think there are some still waiting on trucks ordered over 8 months ago. I was convinced Stellantis logistics is so messed up that they lose track of some trucks in the shipping process and don't know where they end up for long periods of time.

So, I finally picked it up and got some seat time for the hour drive home in traffic. My initial impression is WOW what a beast looking truck. The ride is fairly good for a 3/4 ton truck, actually better than I thought. It's very "Techy" but very easy to get into setting everything up the way I want. It's amazingly roomy with lots of creature comforts. So far I think it's a great vehicle. I have a long list of thing to do to make it mine, In the end I think it'll be perfect. One thing I did notice is boy it sure loves the gas, not that anyone buys a truck for it's economical value. I had an F350 diesel that I think did a little better. My son who's 10 went ape when I got home and spent 2 hours just sitting in it and checking everything out... It is for sure kid approved... :)

That's great to hear! I'm about to hit 6 months with my PW and still love it to death. Knock on wood it will be as reliable as the 09 GMC it replaced. I agree that it drinks gas like no tomorrow. I've only hit about 3500 miles on mine in 6 months of ownership and I was excited to see it roll an average of 13.0 MPG last night on a highway drive. In all fairness, I knew the MPG would be bad and I also have a very short commute and summer vehicles. It will get to stretch its legs a little more on the highway in the next two months, but it will also be towing our jeep behind it.

Well the time has finally come. Truck came in yesterday morning and I got to spend some time, before they pdi it, and inspect it for any signs of damage and I’m happy to say it’s in great shape. Hoping to pick it up Monday. Been a long time coming but I’m glad I held out and kept waiting.

Ordered 12/22/22 (one option held it up for a bit because it was conflicting other options so it says order date 1/5/23 on the tracker)

Built 3/22/23

“Shipped” 5/10/23
Then sat in Texas for a few months with no movement then finally…

Delivered 8/25/23

It’s been a roller coaster of a time with the order process and I’m glad it’s finally almost over. I hope everyone on here is enjoying their new rides and for the ones that had to go with other routes, I hope the same! Thanks @brv10 for the updates along the way! I appreciated the insight and having an idea on what was going on throughout this wait. Anyways here’s some pictures it’s still pretty dirty cause it hasn’t got in for pdi or detail yet but hopefully Monday it will be ready to roll!

Congrats on the truck. Even dirty she looks great! I'm glad I waited the 6 months for my Powerwagon to finally deliver. It still puts a smile on my face every time I see it.

I was lucky enough to have a nice sticker in my window letting me know my truck was randomly selected for inspection and quality control. Hat 47 miles on it and underneath and the engine bay looked like it was seriously off road'd. I spent 9 hours today detailing it and after multiple rinse's I still had dirt drips. I assume I'll get that for 2-3 more washes. It does look good though. Once I get paint correction and ceramic coating it'll be like a mirror. 35's go on Tuesday, Exhaust and misc stuff go on Thursday. All that'll be left is the cap, and Carli Pintop and done.

So I ordered my new 23 Ram 2500 on March 13th and the factory signed off complete on March 31, 2023. Since then I have had no updates at all. My dealer cannot tell me anything. They reach out to the regional rep and get no answers. The regional rep does not even answer their emails. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Mine was built 6/21 and sits idle in Mexico. Same thing, dealer reaches to rep and the reply is crickets. Nothing. My sales rep says he’s been with ram 25 years and he says it’s as bad as he’s ever seen from a logistics standpoint.
