Build sheet showed up today and so did the "towing capacity" on the Ram Trucks site. Hit up Ram Chat and they estimated 2/3 - 2/17 to the dealer. Hmmm...

Lots of activity happening lately, sounds like things are moving faster. the guys who ordered early got the short end of the stick.

Has anyone else noticed that their SL date and MSRP have changed while waiting for delivery? My 2500- VIN 506602 ordered 09-24- window sticker originally showed an SL date of 12-06 when I printed it back around Christmas. I pulled the sticker up through the dealer inventory listing for my truck today- the SL now shows "0112-3", and the MSRP of the truck is up $250, $200 increase in base price, and $50 increase to the Limited Level 1 package. I don't know if the changed SL indicates arrival at dealer, or a delayed shipping date or what. Ugh.

I just re-ran my window sticker and everything is the same as it was weeks ago... Good news I guess that they aren't trying to milk more money out of me...

My sticker went up by $450.00, $200.00 for the Base price, $100.00 for the sun roof, $100.00 for the Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor, and $50.00 for the Limited Level 1. Sticker was 1219 and is now 0115-3

Aaron, can you help us understand why window stickers are being changed with Price increases after the Sold trucks have been shipped to the dealers? In my case the Original date was 1219 and the Trucked shipped on 12/23. The window sticker has a now SL number 0115-3 and a $450.00 price increase that just showed up this morning.

My SL is still the same but overall went up $300. $250 from base and $50 for Laramie Level 1.

Ordered on 12/04.
Contacted salesperson on 01/07 (at about the 4.5 week mark). He told me the truck was scheduled to be built on 01/19.
Build sheet populated today (01/18).
No delivery timeframe yet. Will probably wait a few days to reach out to my salesperson again to get a delivery window.

Order goes in tomorrow morning for a 1/19/21 for a 3500 8' SRW 6.7 SO Laramie with Night Edition, Safety, Tow & Level 1. Opted for the 50G tank, 5WP, clearance lights and the switches. Adding the bed liner and power steps at a later date. I'm a little scared I might hate the long bed but we'll see.

$1000 NR deposit, FFP minus HB but they threw the HB on my trade. Quoted 6-10 weeks.

You'll like it when you're towing, especially with the 50 gallon tank.

How much was the HB? Still learning about this

About $2k. It may have been a little under. Depending on where you're located -- just call one of the large volume dealers mentioned on here and use that as your baseline for negotiations. I wasted 3 weeks by not doing this.

Well I was hoping to pick up my truck tomorrow, salesman never called me so I called the service department to find out if it was just the mirror that was damaged, he said that was the only thing he was told to order and it will be in on the 22nd...... Bad enough having to wait so long for an order, but even being lied to and ignored by my salesman is making it worse, I called him on Wednesday last week to find out where my truck was and he told me that it was in Texas with the other 3 2500s he ordered... I knew that couldn’t be right, and of course he never bothered to check my order, because it came in the next day. But I think what bothers me the most isn’t the fact that my truck was damaged during delivery, it’s that my salesman that I have been dealing with for 20 years didn’t even have the decency to call and let me know my truck came in even if it did get damaged. Just had to vent, by the time I pick up my truck it will be 20 weeks exactly.

Mine has been at the Logistics Park Rail Yard in Illinois for at least Two Weeks and the yard hasn't released it for transport to the Dealer. I contacted Ram Care and requested they Get ahold of Someone at Logistics Park to get the damn thing released so I can get my truck.

Dealer just contacted me. The truck is on the lot and I'll pick it up this afternoon. I ordered on 10 Nov 2020, Vin and D1 status on 20 Nov 2020, truck built on 21 Dec 2020, truck shipped on 23 Dec 2020, truck on dealer lot 19 Jan 2021. To the day, it took exactly 10 weeks from ordering it to picking it up.

So I took the 30 minute drive to the dealer this morning to pick up my truck with the damaged mirror, figured I would just run up to get the mirror later when it came in... lot jockey decided the mirror just wasn’t enough damage...
