Hello All. First post, but I've been lurking here for a while.

I officially placed an order with my local dealer this morning. It's gonna be a long 2(?) months.

I did ask the sales manager about wait time and he indicated that he just received a truck ordered in September and a truck ordered in November in the same week. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but he said it was more of a transport issue than a build issue and that folks that ordered back in Sept-Oct saw a longer than usual delay. His expectation is 8 weeks. Here's to hoping...

10 Weeks and the truck isn’t even built yet. More like 3-4 months to be realistic.

Congratulations on your order and a very nice Truck! I ordered my truck on 11/3/2020 and received the truck on 1/5/2021, so just over 8 weeks. Hopefully, yours will go fast also!

Actual dealer delivery - 1/5 awaiting PDI
Picked up - 1/6

DIdnt think that was too bad to be honest.

That's about what I was planning on but now I'm starting to get nervous. I'm taking a vacation in April that I'll need the truck to pull with. That seemed like plenty of time back in November to take delivery but now I'm not so certain.

Ram Chat just said the tentative delivery date is 1/11-1/25.

I ordered on 10 Nov 2020 and all my other dates are exactly like yours

Just got off chatting with RAM, they told me before there would be no updates until it arrived at the dealer. They told me just now ETA to dealer is 1/16-1/30.
Dealer told me after it was built on 12/16 that it was supposed to be "stateside" 1/18....
So far he has been correct with the dates, so hopefully its getting close!

Currently supposed to be on a train so who knows shipped on the 29th of December. I am hoping that will get the truck by the end of January

Wow, that is a long time. I wonder why some trucks take longer than others?

My truck took just over 14 weeks from order to delivery.. it took over a month waiting for final inspection to delivery but only took 16 days from Mexico to dealer in indiana.. my tuck was completely covered in a white chalk (lime stone?) When it was unloaded at the dealer.. looked like it had set in a parking lot somewhere for a long time...
My thought is that they goto a lot and are randomly pulled for shipping.. some get pulled right away while others get shuffled back.. I'm just guessing..

Window sticker showed up today. Still no build sheet. Ordered 11/24, received VIN, and status( D1) from dealer on 12/7, with an estimated ship date of 1/11. 3500 Laramie CC SWR, HO, short box, in Patriot Blue. Hoping for a quick shipment.

Ordered 11/18. Dealer said ship would be 1/12. Still in D1 status as of last week. I’d like to know if yours keeps that timeline.

Negative definently not built in vin order number

Ordered 11/18. Dealer said ship would be 1/12. Still in D1 status as of last week. I’d like to know if yours keeps that timeline.

Ordered 10/30 still in D1 and dealer and Ram Chat say that it is shipping on 1/17. Find that hard to believe. I have a bed liner, bed cover, fifth wheel prep, and steps that have to be put on.
