Definitely agree with you above on the sold orders, on another topic has anyone heard what the incentives will be moving forward and if “EP for all” will be in place on 21s? I always buy at FFP when it’s not available, but if EP for all will roll forward on 21s it will almost double the incentive kickback to the dealer behind the scene and I can combine with my other offers vs the true “EP” program which has limitations on combining with other incentive programs.

I have been following this forum a while now. I usually don't post on forums but since I look at this one a couple times a week I thought I would throw in my build and timing to add to growing data set here.
Ordered a 2021 Ram 2500 Longhorn, Mega Cab, Level 1, Protection Group, engine block heater, dual alternators, LT285/60R20E.
Ordered placed on 4 Sept 2020 (VON received 8 Sept 2020). I was given an estimated 12-14 weeks until I could take delivery
Window Sticker populated on 28 Nov 2020
I was given several Estimated Shipping dates (18 Nov 2020, 20 Nov 2020, 3 Dec 2020) and according to Dealer and RAM Chat as of Monday (28 Dec) it has still not shipped, "your vehicle order status is still in the shipment phase. There is currently no ETA window for it to arrive at the dealership."
I was also told shipping to So Cal is 4-5 weeks, so if I am lucky maybe I can take delivery in Feb. which would put me at 22 weeks if it ships next week. Finger's crossed that I get it before the $1500 bonus cash expires
I have heard that shipping is a black hole and that all dates are only estimates due to logistical nightmares but I would really love to understand why some "Sold Orders" ship significantly quicker than others. If there was a reason even if it is a bad reason it would help keep the frustrations at bay. You would think all sold orders would get some sort of priority when it comes to getting on a train. I'm just thoroughly confused at this point
That sucks that it is taking soooo long. Crazy how different some of these are. I have seen 2500's getting delivered in 8 weeks on here and I figured maybe the 2500's were faster to delivery, but apparently not. I was told by my sales rep that once they mark it as a SOLD vehicle, that it does get prioritized in the build process, but not sure about shipping.

For the folks that have taken delivery of your 21, can anyone confirm that does NOT have the adaptive steering if your truck has the electronic steering assist module (SAM) attached to the steering box/shaft? I’ve been curious if FCA equipped all the trucks with it for 21 to simplify part numbers like Ford did in 20 going with the electronic assist/torque overlay on all trims above XL

Ordered 10/3...truck was built around 12/14, still waiting for it to come stateside. Told estimated jan 18th, but haven't heard an update recently.

Thanks for the info I looked up mine and payload is 3990 about 340lb less than dealer told me and what is in printed flyer from dealer. They must be using a totally strip down tradesmen for their estamates.

Sorry to hear that, you must be throwing in the towel at this point! Hopefully you take possession within a week or two, otherwise I would be asking my dealer what gives!

Ordered a 2021 6.7 2500 Laramie crew cab 6'4" bed 4X4 Hydro blue on 10/30/2020 it was off loaded at the dealer tonight 12/30/2020. They will do their part tomorrow receiving it and then paperwork signing begins.

@Onelongshot Ram cares chat told me on Monday (12/28/2020) that my truck was in delivery status with a delivery date of 12/28/2020 thru 01/12/2021 but could not gi e me a 'K' code so that I could see what stage of shipping it was in.
I ordered mine on 09-23-2020, Hydro Blue, 6.4 Hemi Bighorn. It's supposedly enroute and should be at the Dealer, according to FCA between Jan 13th - 27th. 15 to 17 weeks from order to delivery... That sucks. And it's not like they have to ship it to Alaska or somewhere far away. I live in Wisconsin.

I am starting to get into conspiracy theory territory. My build was completed on 11/19. I got the $1500 Ram Cash offer online on 11/24 (you have to give your name and email) on 11/24 and since then my truck sat in Limbo for a month and I am being told shipping will take another month. My offer expires on 1/23 and the ETA is 1/25-2/8 (5 months from order). I’m wondering if they didn’t put it on ice to save $1500.

Ha, I had a similar thought. Hopefully that is not true. I went and got another Ram Cash offer that expires early Feb, so mine will wait in shipping that much longer

I was thinking the same thing mine is going to expire before I receive the truck.

Window sticker just posted today for my 10/24 order. So hopefully it will be shipped soon.
Where did you go to look up window sticker. I have only been able to see the build sheet.

Here’s my payload: HO Cummins

My 5th wheel has a pin weight of 2100lbs, and a GVWR of 14,000 , so I ought to be good
