Looking at my 2019 Sport Package Bighorn, there appears to be space behind the lower honeycomb for a winch and that honeycomb could be removed to allow a cable/rope pass through for a winch. Is there anyone out there making a hidden winch mounting plate yet for these? I googled some but I am only seeing older model and half ton options. I'm wanting to put a Smittybilt X20 Comp 12K winch on, the same that I have been using for 4 years on my Wrangler that I trailer to use offroad.

From what I’ve seen the only option is to get the mount from a Power Wagon, and that will only work if you have a Hemi. If you’ve got the Cummins the intercooler is in the way.

The power wagon mount should work. Someone did this for their 2500 (I think it was a 2018?). The part numbers are probably different for the 2019s. But it'll be a good start to see what's involved.

You could also put a front-mount hitch hidden in the bumper. But they're only rated to 9k or so.

New guy here. Looking for the same thing except I want to mount this on my 2020 Ram 3500 Hemi. Here is what I found for parts so far from the diagram. There are a few things missing and a couple that I cant find off the drawing at all:

#6 Winch Bracket - Mopar (68400221AA)
#7 Winch Bracket - Mopar (68349985AB) Need 2 or Might need Winch Bracket, Right - Mopar (68349985AA), Winch Bracket, Left - Mopar (68349988AA)
#24 Winch Bracket - Mopar (68378859AA)
#25 Bracket-Winch - Mopar (68378860AD) Front Cover
#5
#3 Winch Remote Control - Mopar (68400517AA)
#1 Power Winch - Mopar (68437990AB)
#2 Winch Hook Kit - Mopar (68400516AA)
#14 Hex Flange Head Bolt, Mounting, Left Side - Mopar (6102018)
#26
#27
#15

Drawing is here: https://www.wholesalemopar.com/oem-...9MjAyMCZ0PXBvd2VyLXdhZ29uJmU9Ni00bC12OC1nYXM=

I'm not sure how similar the frame horns are in the front between the 2500 and the 3500 so maybe someone with better cross model knowledge can weigh in.

I know its only been a few months since this thread was hit but has anyone heard of any further developments in terms aftermarket options for hidden winch mounts on non power wagon gas job 2500s? I haven't found anything.

I haven’t heard anything. No one even found the missing parts here lol. I gave up and had a custom bumper built that would work with my plow mount.

So I want to conquer this project. Looks like the store in Florida have all the parts needed. Anyone know where I can find instructions on how to install it?

If you follow the post back to the source there are some decent instructions. No explicit steps though. When you get ready to remove the bumper be sure to disconnect all the electrical connections to it. If you have located the missing parts please do post the numbers for everyone.

What it's weird the drawing shows shows two brackets with same number 7 but if I look at number 7 it says one bracket required. So I don't know if I need to purchase 2 pieces of #7 or there is right bracket missing.

Awesome. If you have a local source for the parts that’s even better. I was curious on how much slop there is on the fit to the frame since my original plan was to modify the brackets to fit over my plow mount.

Yeah that was confusing me as well. I think we are looking at a mix of 2018 and 2020 parts.

One more question before I start shopping around. What winch I will be able to use on the bracket except that $2800  winch?

I was looking at that as well. For the most part any one that uses the standard spacing on the mount feet should work. I was planning on using my Badlands 12k. The factory one has the extension for the clutch which I can’t seem to find anywhere. So you need to be ok with reaching under to use the clutch or just don’t free spool.

Have you seen those? Maybe if you remove the handle and check one of them will work https://www.vicedesign.ca/collections/clutch-relocation-kits

I'm not sure how much force is required to switch the clutch but maybe you could drill a hole in the existing handle and make something like this

Either of those would have worked I think. In my current config the bumper mfg left big access holes but otherwise I’d still struggling with that.

Another question. I have AUX switches in my truck. I would like to use them to control the winch. Is this possible?
