haha, i tried that. It was all good until it was time to pull the dang filter through the tiny hole in the wheelwell. That caused the mess. tore a hole in the ziplock and oil went everywhere. Luckily I learned long ago to either do this in an area where oil spills aren't a concern, and to use...
I'm due for a change soon. The first change kicked my tail trying to get the filter out without spilling anything. I need to buy one of those end caps that thread onto the filter before I change it this time. I tried without it the first time and it was pretty messy.
I have 2 carseats installed in my backseat, so it isn't easy to flip the seats down and use the behind the seat storage, yet. (will be once the kids age a bit).
I have some small plastic totes that I keep a trailer hitch, tie down gear, recovery gear, and a few tools in. I can fit 3 of the...
12k miles on my 22. only problem is the uconnect losing radio presets often enough that i just stopped setting them. hopefully that goes away with a uconnect update sometime soon.
Take a look at the Falken Wildpeak AT3/W in whatever size you want. I've had them on a chevy 2500 and a jeep gladiator. Both had great tread life and were fairly aggressive for an AT tire. They are what i'll be going with when my transforce tires are worn and need replacement. I'm at 10k on...

3 beeps when exiting vehicle with it running is the most annoying thing about the truck. Second most annoying are the shift points being so low in the RPM range. The cummins has the torque to do it, but if/when it gets tuned the transmission shift points will absolutely be adjusted at that time.
Full synthetic for me. I change my oil myself, so I know what goes in and what filter i'm getting. I don't trust the oil change guys to do it right either.
Since I do it myself, I get do do it less frequent with full synthetic. Since I'm doing it less frequently, odds are it might get cold...
Mine runs about 1 gal of DEF per 1,000 miles. I've been through 3 of the 2.5 gal jugs of DEF and i'm right at 7500 miles, with 3/4 of a tank of DEF in the truck now.
mine smells like that due to a regen. Took me a few regens to figure out that was what it was. Looked around the truck for stickers/labels that might be burning off of exhaust pipes the first time lol.
As the the whistle, it's most likely turbo noise. These trucks can sound different while...
