Does holding the traction control button for about 10 seconds not shut yours off completely? Is there a thread on traction control or has anyone figured out how to properly shut it all the way off in 2wd and 4high?
No, I can hold it down until the cows come home and only turns off the slip, I want the slide too.Does holding the traction control button for about 10 seconds not shut yours off completely?
I think you may need to be in 4wd and in park. No, I can hold it down until the cows come home and only turns off the slip, I want the slide too.
Have there been issues with Ram beds flexing? I thought this was more of an issue with composite bed trucks.
So, going from 2 to 4 high it did nothing (Very odd on its own) 4 low shuts it all off, then back to 4 high and it work as it should (press turns off TC and long hold turns off SC). 2wd short press shuts off TC and a long press reengages TC. Oh well... I'll have to live with it.I think you may need to be in 4wd and in park.
I’ll check how mine acts when I get home. Have you had the recall done? I have not. I think the recall has something to do with the TC lightSo, going from 2 to 4 high it did nothing (Very odd on its own) 4 low shuts it all off, then back to 4 high and it work as it should (press turns off TC and long hold turns off SC). 2wd short press shuts off TC and a long press reengages TC. I have a habit of halfway reading things so it may be totally unrelated.
My truck acts like yours In 2wd I can only toggle on or partial off. That’s all I see in the manual as well. I don’t see everything off.

Mine doesn’t fall into “if equipped” because it doesn’t do thatNo speed specified for when ESC or TCS re-engages to partial or full. So you can do it, just not fast enough to have fun with it.
Edit: p308 of the owners manual for a '22

Try in 4High? I get the chime and the traction control off message displayed. It seems 4Low automatically does it and 2wd it is just not possible.Mine doesn’t fall into “if equipped” because it doesn’t do that
Thanks. I didn’t try it in 4H because I assumed that 2H and 4H acted the same, partially based on @NHOverland first question about the subject and partially based on me knowing 4L acted differentTry in 4High? I've got those sitting in my garage for the new truck. Looks like you had to take the tires off?The fog light install is a bit challenging with large hands....but these things are pretty pimp....
makes getting in there easier...im 6'2" so i dont fit in tight spaces very well....I've got those sitting in my garage for the new truck. Looks like you had to take the tires off?

Hmm, now I’m going to have to go test my own. I wonder if engaging the rear locker affects TCS? My locker will engage in 2WD.No speed specified for when ESC or TCS re-engages to partial or full. So you can do it, just not fast enough to have fun with it.
