Can someone provide an email for Sandi?

Window stickers don't appear until the vehicle is built. Considering that the 22 production doesn't begin until the 26th of this month it's doubtful that anyone is further along than D1 status.
Rog, but is that D1 code coming from your dealer or is it also showing on crypto stickers?

All cryptostickers does is send you an email when your build sheet or window sticker become available. Cryptostickers works flawlessly in that regard. The dealer or RAM Chat are your only source for updates.

Looking for some opinions on my situation here: ordered a 2021 Big Horn back at the end of April, locked in my trade-in value and sale price in April. Truck was built when I noticed it didn’t have an option I really wanted so it was agreed by the salesman and myself to order a 2022. Now they won’t appraise my trade-in until the 2022 truck is delivered. Any suggestions or thoughts? I’m still going to push to get a trade-in locked in but looking for other options. Maybe sell outright, sell to dealer, etc.?

Ky local dealer did an appraisal last month and agreed to honor it on delivery as long as I stayed under 1500 miles.

I don't know how things work in your state, but where I live it is a good idea to trade it because you are then taxed only on the difference between the trade in value and the new truck value. So, if I were you I'd try to pressure the dealer to commit to the value because you shouldn't have to take the hit if the mistake on the truck you ordered wasn't on you. Or you can figure out how much you would have to sell your old truck for privately to make up for the extra sales tax on your new truck w/o trade-in and see if it's doable.

Man, I wish it were like this in CA. Tax on the whole, new vehicle, entire sale price, period. I hear other states having this nice tax break and am envious!

Exactly, I would have to sell my current truck outright or back to a dealer for at least the amount to cover the sales tax difference. I should be able to sell to a private party easily for more than enough to cover but I’d be without a truck for a few months possibly. I’ll keep pressing to see.

Bummer, that’s about the only good thing going on in my state.

In Texas they subtract the trade-in value from the sale price and only tax you on the difference. If you sell your car instead of trading it in, be sure to get enough above trade-in to cover the tax savings you give up. That is what I did. I sold for about 3k more than trade in which more than made up for losing the tax savings.

Dealer placed the order for my 2022 on 6/1. Was told today by Ram customer service that the vehicle is in production and should be complete this coming week / should see it mid August. Can't wait. Hope this helps for anyone else in the waiting game

I would ask your dealer what build code your order is currently in to validate that information. (https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...-sticker-and-link-to-2021-buyers-guides.2518/). Supposedly the 2022 HDs production starts up on 7/26.

If it's in production, I believe the build sheet would be available. Have you tried looking up the VIN?

I just read this info. I have had a 2022 3500 on order since May 18th. I’m not trying to re-ignite a rumor but, found the last paragraph to be interesting timing!

The ZF PowerLine transmission is designed for medium-duty commercial vehicle trucks, buses and heavy-duty pickup trucks. The transmission is based on ZF’s 8-speed automatic transmission benchmark design, which provides maximum spread with fewer moving parts, reduced friction and less fluid. ZF PowerLine provides an incomparable total cost of ownership (TCO) with minimal maintenance, best-in-class fuel efficiency potential in the double digits, and highly integrated shift algorithms that promote up to 15% enhanced acceleration performance.

“ZF PowerLine proves equal, but in most cases, higher performance and efficiency than other transmissions with 9 and 10 speeds. It will set the new benchmark for automatic transmission technology in the strategic North American commercial vehicle market,” explained Christian Feldhaus, Director Commercial Vehicle Driveline Technology North America, ZF. “With its modular design, PowerLine is prepared for mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, making it a true technology bridge to future mobility.”

ZF began production of the PowerLine 8-speed automatic transmission at its global headquarters in Friedrichshafen, Germany, at the end of 2020 and made its first supply to North American customers in 2021. In 2023, volume production will begin in the U.S. and will exclusively serve North American market demand.

First portion of the news release. ZF Announces $200 Million Investment in North American Commercial Vehicle Transmission Manufacturing

  • ZF PowerLine 8-speed automatic transmission technology sets benchmark for medium-duty commercial vehicle trucks, buses and heavy-duty pickup trucks
  • With passenger car comfort, unparalleled commercial vehicle performance, advanced safety technology and double-digit fuel savings potential, ZF PowerLine sets a new standard for commercial vehicle powertrain experience
  • Multiple North American customers have signed multiyear contracts, U.S. production will begin in 2023
  • $200 million investment over the next three years in local production at ZF’s automatic transmissions facility in Gray Court, SC; addition of 500 U.S. jobs

I think your being feed a load! I have a 2021 on order since Jan. 28th that just got a VIN and moved into "D" status last week.
I would doubt with the number of remaining 2021's to be built that any production on the 2022's will be started anytime soon.
