Rog, but is that D1 code coming from your dealer or is it also showing on crypto stickers?Window stickers don't appear until the vehicle is built. Considering that the 22 production doesn't begin until the 26th of this month it's doubtful that anyone is further along than D1 status.
From the dealer. It will be on the POC if you ask for one.Rog, but is that D1 code coming from your dealer or is it also showing on crypto stickers?
Ky local dealer did an appraisal last month and agreed to honor it on delivery as long as I stayed under 1500 miles.Looking for some opinions on my situation here: ordered a 2021 Big Horn back at the end of April, locked in my trade-in value and sale price in April. Truck was built when I noticed it didn’t have an option I really wanted so it was agreed by the salesman and myself to order a 2022. Now they won’t appraise my trade-in until the 2022 truck is delivered. Any suggestions or thoughts? I’m still going to push to get a trade-in locked in but looking for other options. Maybe sell outright, sell to dealer, etc.?

I don't know how things work in your state, but where I live it is a good idea to trade it because you are then taxed only on the difference between the trade in value and the new truck value. So, if I were you I'd try to pressure the dealer to commit to the value because you shouldn't have to take the hit if the mistake on the truck you ordered wasn't on you. Or you can figure out how much you would have to sell your old truck for privately to make up for the extra sales tax on your new truck w/o trade-in and see if it's doable.Looking for some opinions on my situation here: ordered a 2021 Big Horn back at the end of April, locked in my trade-in value and sale price in April. Man, I wish it were like this in CA. Tax on the whole, new vehicle, entire sale price, period. I hear other states having this nice tax break and am envious!I don't know how things work in your state, but where I live it is a good idea to trade it because you are then taxed only on the difference between the trade in value and the new truck value.

Dealer placed the order for my 2022 on 6/1. Was told today by Ram customer service that the vehicle is in production and should be complete this coming week / should see it mid August. Can't wait. Hope this helps for anyone else in the waiting game
