Great point. If anyone that has this working, particularly in '20 and '21 MY can post their config files, I'll see if anything jumps out.

Trail cam (Fwd Cam/PW Cam) worked for me first shot. 2020 Big Horn. Just enabled it and got it to go second key cycle in my buddies 2020 Tradesman.

I have the correct hardware needed for AlfaOBD but can’t figure out how to use it on my windows laptop. Trying to activate the bed lights that I installed. I can connect to Alfa, but no idea what to do from there. I got into a configuration screen that has what seems like hundreds of options. No idea which to choose. Help!

That’s a bummer. I’m sure I’ll get used to it but I was used to my tundra where I was able to turn it up to 7.

It doesn’t do anything anymore. That was for back when Uconnect (3?) had apps you could add, such as Yelp and pandora.

Can someone with a Kaodtech security module bypass cable do me a favor and take a close up picture of the small connectors? the locking tabs you press down on to release are broken and I have one stuck. I'm hoping I can stick a small micro screwdriver in to press the lock down to get the connector out but I'm not sure which side the locking tab is on. Thanks.

If you are facing the CAN blocks, the unbroken tab needs to be moved to the left so that the tab catch that's holding moves to the right to release.

There’s new updates for both versions. If somebody has a 2019-2020 with the windows version, and wants to see if trailer light check will work, connect and switch to MY2021 and try these settings:
VehConfig 8: Trailer Light Check Cycle Present- YES
CBC Config I/O: Trailer light check cycles- 31

FYI, Changed cycles to 19 just cause, still isn't working. Seems another fail to function.

I think I know why some of these settings aren’t working between model years. A member on another forum is helping me get factory surround view working on my 2017 truck. He figured out that certain “families” of settings are set to not programmed, so they weren’t working even though they are successfully set. He passed his findings along to Alexey, and he’s supposed to do an update. Right now, he’s spoofed a bunch of settings, and has off road pages, and is close to getting front power wagon gridlines on his transplanted 12” radio...in his 2015. So, hopefully soon, the door will be wide open for all these settings that seem to work for some, but not for others.

Correct. There’s no ajar sensor on either of the HD tailgate latches. The circuits are there to enable on the BCM, but I compared a 1500 latch to an HD latch, and it won’t mount on an HD tailgate.

Wondering if anyone who does not have aux switches is willing to do me a favor. Can you make these settings changes, and see if the commercial settings menu that contains the switch settings shows up in the EVIC menu?

I’m trying to help a few members on 5thgenrams determine if the DTs are capable of aux switches, and whether or not this menu shows up without the switch bank installed will eliminate one theory. Thanks

2021 2500 Big Horn, no AUX switches. Changes made as per your post and this is what I got. On the enter PIN screen I just right arrowed through it, no PIN entered. HTH.
