What did you do TO your RAM today?

Right, I just paid 7k in taxes today. 9.2 sales tax. plus fees.... ouch
 
Oh.....back to the topic.
Today, after the hosing at the DMV.....

1) Talked to friendly lady at Sirius radio and switched the lifetime subscription from the old truck to new.
2) Mounted new license plate
3) Installed rear amp step
4) removed dealer sticker from rear window
5) folded rear seat up, and set up rear section for dogs to be comfortable
6) washed truck to remove diesel soot from transporter
7) while wiping down with towel, it began to rain so I rolled her into the barn
8) had a beer and played ball with the young dog

Snow tomorrow. Installing BW gooseneck hitch, and air bags.

The misery of it all. I live about 60 miles south of the Oregon border. No sales tax up there. My friends that live there just shake their heads. Something like 60 bucks for two year license fee and no sales tax.

Did they charge you for #1??? I was told you couldn't do that. If yes how much??

What brand mud flaps are those? Nice mod by the way.
 
Got my radar detector moved over to the truck today. I put it up high, to keep my field of view clear and hardwired it to the mirror. It's mounted using 3M strips in place of the unreliable suction cups.
I love how clean it turned out.

Installed a mount from ProClip USA for my phone. I'm surprised how solid this thing is...no more phone hitting the floorboard while on a rough trail. I've got to order a black cable so it stays hidden a little better though.

Side note, I didn't realize my radar detector was over 10 years old! My old Passport 9500ix still works good IMO but it looks like there is some nice, newer tech out there now.
 
I drive 4 mph over the speed limit when I really want to make some time. Never get a second glance from CHP.
My usual M.O. is to leave the house 1/2-1 hrs earlier than planned and not worry about making time.
Years ago, when I did drive at a good clip I used a Valentine.
 
Just read ALL 91 pages of this thread over 2 days! I’m stuck in quarantine for 14 days before I go to work offshore in South America. LOVE my job! I only got 2 days with my new truck before I came here. Already bought the Bakflip MX4 and BakBox. Researching lifts, wheels, and tires.
