What did you do TO your RAM today?

Took a train ride last night to Sacramento to pick up new 2500 from shipper. They picked up from dealer in Lake Charles LA Friday late afternoon, and it was unloaded in Sacramento Monday afternoon.
Drove north, stopped in Chico to have smog cert done, then to scales for weigh in for tomorrows visit to DMV to register.
Got home, installed Tiger Tough seat covers, and called it a day.
Didn't you order on 1/21?

Add a bracket for radar detector, hope someone can tell me a way to get 12VDC from that mirror.

Put the diamondback cover on, hope the re-design the lock, it’s not good to take a key for the cover.

If you have the upfitter switches what I did was use the wires from the kit that came with the truck that has the two long loops into a single plug. That plugs into a mating plug under the dash. One wire is to the battery and always "hot". The other is from the ignition. I used a tester to see which was which. I tapped mine into the ignition as I don't need the camera on all the time.

How much is registration going to cost you in CA?

Anyone wanting to install the Air Lift 5000 ultimate. Very quick and easy install. i routed the hoses through the holes in the frame and used the plate mounting brackets.
Everything done in under an hour, can take pictures if needed, I installed to remove the squat when heavy as i leveled, it would raise the bed two inches when empty

i am paying approx $900 last two years. I think first was just over and last year just under.... cheap in CA :(
Kansas bends people over a rail as well. They go off of vehicle value with slight depreciation each year. First year $1400, second $1200...
Luckily, for now, I'm active duty military so I don't have to pay the crazy high registration prices for another year (until retirement).

Ouch do you guys have ad valorem, or (bi)yearly tax based on the value of the vehicle x a millage rate depending on county?

We had that system for a while and now you just pay tax one time when you purchase the vehicle. Much better

Ours used to be a few hundred bucks a year and now it’s around $54 that’s including a $25 special plate fee which donates $25 to the Appalachian trail

Gave it bath today. Going to try and keep it clean on the way to the cabin this evening, probably wishful thinking!

Wow, this wheel looks amazing! I have this exact same truck. I was contemplating these wheels or the Fuel Rebel in Gray. Only reason I’m leaning toward Rebel is being able to get it in 22”. BUT, this has me thinking.

they don't count mileage, at least if they do it is assumed, i think value of vehicle is part of it, i can post up a breakdown of how it is billed when home
