Mud Flaps

Is the hole that requires the drilling the inner most where it attaches to the wheel well liner or was it multiple holes per flap?
There were 3 or 4 holes per flap that needed drilling all in plastic parts it was actually pretty well thought out by ram other than the plastic rivets needing their own tool i was able to improvise and still use the rivets

I went with the Gatorbacks front and rear for my 2021 3500 Night Edition. I like the how easy they wear to put on. The only thing I would change and I am going to is to get SS hardware that is powered coated black. But the look and quality of them is worth the money in my opinion. They have a life time warranty as well.

Those are very nice looking. Looks like you had to drill once but the other two used OEM holes. Nice truck.

Yes to help support them as they are very thick and heavy duty but was easy.

Got a full set of WeatherTech mudflaps in my basement waiting for my dually. Lots of parts waiting now. LOL

Would you mind letting me know what the part numbers were for the fronts and backs?
Lady from Weathertech told me yesterday that they do not make Dually Flaps for the 2021 models.

A lot of websites don't list parts for the 2021 models yet. They are the same as the 2020. The set for front and back is part 110109-120116. Please note this is for dually with fender flares.

Thanks for the link. I already have the Gatorback's but I was thinking the Weathertech's might look a little more blended
(Factory Look) to the truck.

Got a set of the Weathertech's ordered from TDOT Performance from here in Canada. Good price at $147 Canadian including shipping. If I end up liking the
looks of the Gatorback's better I can use the Weathertech's for winter so I don't ruin the Gatorback's.

Don't mind how bad my truck looks, it's raining for days.
Here's the oem flaps on...yes the rears are for a truck "with flares", only difference is the recessed area.View attachment 11910View attachment 11911View attachment 11912
Thanks for the great pics! Thinking of going with the Mopar flaps on my 2021 2500. Question RE: the rears - you mentioned they sent you the style WITH fender flares and that you would have ordered fronts the same? I am assuming the fit to the truck is still good (with the fender flare version) but it appears as though they extend out from the truck that little bit more, IE better protection from spray/rocks??

Does anyone know how to remove these?! of course it doesnt just loosen the bolt and come off, there is some sort of clip and a tiny hole to work with under the cab!

If your question is how to remove the wheel spat ( lower rocker plastic trim piece) you need to remove the screw in the wheel lip and then there are clips that come up through a square hole in the bottom. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to lightly squeeze them to allow release.

You remove the bolt, then pull the plastic the bolt was holding toward the front to let it free of the groove then pull the entire thing away from the truck perpendicular. It's two white square tabs. Broke mine on one side, that's how I figured that out lol. If you look just above the two bolts you can barely see them.IMG_1817.jpeg

Hey guys I have a 2021 3500 Limited long bed on order, can you tell me if it will have mud flaps? I don't think it does. I would like to order mud flaps now while I am trying to be patient for the truck to come in.

WT's installed last weekend.. These are a great, OEM-looking option for those that dont want the typical mud-flap look.

Install took all of 15 minutes.

Any chance of a couple more pics of the front? I have a SRW...so the front is more representative of what I have. THX!

Oddly, the Husky and WeatherTech flaps look more OEM than the Mopar flaps. The styling of the Mopar looks like they lifted them from a 1980's dually and stamped in Ram lettering.

Obviously looks are subjective, but I couldnt be happier with the way the WT's look. Being made in USA is an added bonus.

Chets truck is bad a$$ but I do have to agree here. The molded plastic jobbers look better. Function may go to the Mopars.
