Thanks but that post was almost 5 months ago.
2021 is up. You just need to change it.
I contacted the dealer today. Truck is scheduled to be at the nearby rail yard on 02/14. Said it usually takes a couple of days for transport to the dealer.
Last 5 of VIN: 553255
Ordered on 12/04.
Build sheet populated 01/18 (estimate was 01/19).
Monroney sticker on 01/21
3500 Laramie Mega, SRW, CTD, Night Edition with bed utility group and 5th wheel prep. Delmonico Red.
12/5 order...expecting mine to arrive any day now since it was already on the 2nd rail departure.Dealer just called. Truck arrived today. Timing is one day short of 9 weeks from placing the order.
He specifically mentioned that they check that all of the fuses are seated, fluids are at correct levels, and they detail it.
Sounds like the truck arrived at the rail yard within the last couple of days.
Will pick it up on Saturday - it's a pain when work gets in the way of stuff.

This season has been crappy in my area as far as snow fall. But since it's 2020 carrying over into 2021 I'm going to blame it on 2020 being a crappy year in many respects.I did not order it with the plow group, I just don't get that much snow to need one here where I am at in Washington State. I hope you are enjoying yours.
I spoke with my sales rep this afternoon, he is unable to place my order as the system will not allow him to select the options (lv2, safety group, snow plow, etc...) in a night edition. He mentioned it now makes the Level 2 group a Group "B" option. The lane detection has been remove and an adjustment of -$300 to reflect the change. He has been reconfiguring customer orders that have not yet been built all day. Notifying them of the change, i would hope other dealers are being as transparent as the one I have chosen.Interesting. I just emailed our dealer to ask about it. I have it as it was part of the safety group but it is the one feature I can easily live without. Hopefully orders will progress without delay. But my concern is that Ram may require individual order contact and maybe even a signed paperwork acknowledgment or something before allowing our orders to continue. Seems like that would be unlikely as I would think a very high percentage of the orders have the safety group and if they stopped all those until acknowledgement was secured it might be a mess.
Got an email response from dealer and they checked my order. Nothing about this in the system on my order so far. He did not address my question about whether they had heard about it generally or not, just said nothing holding up my order at this point. Maybe it is different for orders already in the system vs orders being placed now. Who knows? It is so hard to be confident we are getting accurate information since Ram makes it so hard to access. Previously Ram Chat told me that they could not see the status codes on any orders so could not provide them. Then last night a Ram Chat rep told me my status code was 'C'. Then this morning got this from our dealer: "your truck is headed into production and is showing a preliminary ship date of 03/04/2021". That sure is not status code 'C'. I hope the dealer is correct, but how can you know for sure. The lane detection has been remove and an adjustment of -$300 to reflect the change. He has been reconfiguring customer orders that have not yet been built all day. Notifying them of the change, i would hope other dealers are being as transparent as the one I have chosen.
Yea the western/snowex mount is nice for being able to remove the guide shoesBelow are pictures of the plow mounts. The first is the mount which now remains on the truck even when not in use. The second is with one of the adapters which are used when you hook up and use the plow. You can see the difference in ground clearance that you gain in the off season or when its not hooked up. Last photo is of the plow on the truck. 8 1/2 ft. and the also offer a 9 ft as well.View attachment 11513
I ordered a few days before you. Still in D1 status. I tried registering the VIN with my MOPAR account (my 1500 is in there) and it gives an error when registering. Wish I could register to receive email updates. I asked dealer to do this for me and he said they don't do that.Things definitely seem to be picking up a little bit!
Ordered 1/11/21
Currently D1, expected ship date of 2/21
2021 2500 Power Wagon
I was told by Mopar chat last night that you can register for an account but that you can not add your vehicle by VIN until you actually take possession of it. I kept getting that error for a week so I chatted with them and they said until you have signed the papers and the "system" knows you are the owner, you can't enter your vehicle. I guess that is why I also could not register my truck order by my site registration information either. But Mopar Chat can tell you different things depending on which agent you get. Maybe if you get on there and ask them why you keep getting the error you will bet lucky and get an agent who can fix it. Maybe worth a try just in case the agent I chatted with was wrong and there is some other reason for the error.I tried registering the VIN with my MOPAR account (my 1500 is in there) and it gives an error when registering. Wish I could register to receive email updates. I asked dealer to do this for me and he said they don't do that.
I ordered 1/2/2021 vin# 1/8/2021, expected ship date is 2/25/2021 arrival estimate to dealer 3/15/2021....You cannot put the truck on your mopar account until it arrives because even though we have a vin # the account will not recognize it. once the dealer reports it as sold is when you can add it to your account on the mopar siteI ordered a few days before you. Still in D1 status. I tried registering the VIN with my MOPAR account (my 1500 is in there) and it gives an error when registering. Wish I could register to receive email updates. I asked dealer to do this for me and he said they don't do that.
No build or vin sheet yet available.
Looking at 5th toy haulers so this truck better hurry up and get here!
That makes sense as I'm sure you woudn't want people adding vehicles that are on dealer lots randomly.I ordered 1/2/2021 vin# 1/8/2021, expected ship date is 2/25/2021 arrival estimate to dealer 3/15/2021....You cannot put the truck on your mopar account until it arrives because even though we have a vin # the account will not recognize it. once the dealer reports it as sold is when you can add it to your account on the mopar site
You may be correct and maybe I missed that post. I have seen a few that registered on the site like I did but not anyone that successfully registered their ordered vehicle by entering the VIN. But this is a very long thread so probably missed it. Are you able to post a quote from their post saying they did it?Someone else above noted they were able to register their truck via the VIN and they were now getting email updates which sparked me to give it a try.
Side note.....I am not trying to sweat this thing but I hear everyone talk about these codes designating different stages of order, build, shipment, etc. I received my VIN a few days after my order on 1/21/21 and signed up on the Mopar site and got an ETA date of 4/2/21. I guess my big thing is I would like to see the build sheet and verify it is what it is supposed to be. Crytostickers appears to be all Jeeps unless, and it very well could be, that I am doing something wrong. Somewhat savy on the tech side but feeling not so bright about this truck stalking thing!

I am one that is under the impression that after signing up on the Ram/Mopar sight that I received an email update with a tentative delivery date of 4/1/21 with a 1/21 order date. I don't recall my salesman taking an email address down and that is the only place I would have given that. Just my thought. Aside from that one email and a text of the VIN/VON from my salesman I have heard nothing and can't find anything on these other sites. I am ok with the wait so long as I have the truck for camping season.

As much as I wish there was a way to enter the VIN and then track, carmike's explanation is exactly as it was explained to me by Mopar Chat. You cannot put the truck on your mopar account until it arrives because even though we have a vin # the account will not recognize it. once the dealer reports it as sold is when you can add it to your account on the mopar site
Hmmmm - Ordered mine on 16 Jan, no email.Ordered a 2021 Laramie 2500 6.7 night edition on January 21
Received a VIN # on Jan 28th.
Costumer care sent an email stating expected arrival the week of March 30th.
I have not done the research to see what stage of the build it is at yet.
Thanks for the forum page I am enjoying reading about all of the members rides..
