2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Side note.....I am not trying to sweat this thing but I hear everyone talk about these codes designating different stages of order, build, shipment, etc. I received my VIN a few days after my order on 1/21/21 and signed up on the Mopar site and got an ETA date of 4/2/21. I guess my big thing is I would like to see the build sheet and verify it is what it is supposed to be. Crytostickers appears to be all Jeeps unless, and it very well could be, that I am doing something wrong. Somewhat savy on the tech side but feeling not so bright about this truck stalking thing!

I'm not sure if this was a browser issue or what, but on my wife's phone and mine it now offers 0% financing on the 2021 laramie. Earlier it appeared to just be good for the 2020 lone star 4x2

Where on the MOPAR website did you get your ETA? Ordered my Truck on the Jan 16, got my vin a few days later

Go to the bottom and "register your vehicle". You can add an email and other info to your profile. Guessing that's how they contacted me with the ETA. I say this because I don't recall my salesman asking for an email.

Thanks! Just try to add my new VIN to my current dashboard. Website says "We're sorry, we had a problem adding your vehicle. Please try again." Verified VIN. I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks again for the info

Sounds like you have a VON, not a VIN. You should have a VIN issued until production, IIRC.

Coincidently I just got off a chat trying to get help with this same issue. Although it does not say this on the Mopar site, chat told me that even with a VIN, I can not add it to my dashboard until the truck is delivered to me and I have signed the papers. Once Ram knows I have taken possession of the truck the website will allow it to be added.
 
When did the dealerships receive information on the new 2021 trucks having the updated pumps and horsepower ratings? Does anyone have any documentation showing the change before December that the dealer would have received?

I really appreciate the help.
 
Ordered a 2021 Laramie 2500 6.7 night edition on January 21
Received a VIN # on Jan 28th.
Costumer care sent an email stating expected arrival the week of March 30th.
I have not done the research to see what stage of the build it is at yet.
Thanks for the forum page I am enjoying reading about all of the members rides..

I'm going with a SnowEx 8 1/2 foot straight blade. I plow residential driveways and didn't see the need for a V-blade. I would have purchased a BOSS but the underbody mount hangs so low. I don't like the way it looks when not in use. I'll post pictures today if possible with and without the plow on to show the mounting heights etc.
 
In process of ordering a 2021 2500 night edition, was planning on placing the order last night. The sales rep told me not to come in as Ram is making changes to the build packages. Apparently there is an issue with the lane assist option, the hardware is not available from the supplier? So now the dealership is in process of reviewing all current orders that have not been built and notifying customers that this is no longer available and will reflect in the cost of the build.

Interesting though all good. Lane assist still sort of sucks. Have never been impressed with anyone’s tech here. Our Tesla is further along than most but even it struggles when headed directly into the evening sunlight or if there is a half assed painted lane shift due to highway construction.

I did not order it with the plow group, I just don't get that much snow to need one here where I am at in Washington State. I hope you are enjoying yours.
 
8 weeks since I ordered. Still no VIN. Maybe it is a Canadian thing? My sales guy says Chrysler has not update the status for orders since January 4th. WTF????

Just got an email from Jeff at Ram Information Center... he says my truck was delivered 2/1.... never heard anything from the dealership... wtf?

Guess I'll go pick it up today! Ordered 11/20, right at 11 weeks now.

September 22 here, still in D1 and no one can give me a straight answer as to why its delayed, not @RamCares , not RamChat, Not FCA Customer Care US or Canada (I'm in Canada) and not the dealer (who is just as frustrated as I am) As I explained to all involved, this isn't a $5 burger from McDonald's (can i say that here??) its a $100k+ vehicle
