OBDLink has their app, but is double (or more) the price of the vLinker.
MC+ if you need iOS support.
I have both MX+ and MC+ and they both do the same things. I found the MC+ to be a bit quirky BT/BLE setup if you have Android, but it works. I even keep both connected via a splitter. The MC+ is on the secure side of the SGM and is used for Torque, the MX+ is on the bypass side and is used for JScan or AlfaOBD.

My question is due to Kaodtech cable not being available, I am considering getting the Infotainment security bypass cable. Will that cable work?
I can wait for Kaodtech to resupply but I just wondered about that cable. My list of AlfaOBD changes is growing!

Yes, Infotainment sells the OBD Genie bypass cable. Someone said you can order it from OBD Genie for free shipping.

Ok guys I need help I followed all the directions in jscan. I know this is alphaobd but I see other people post about jscan in here so I figured more people might see this. I typed this out and I believe it's accurate sorry I'm beyond super frustrated for the last 36 hours.
Ok everyone. I have a 2021 Ram 3500 SO Diesel truck. I added the the kaodtec gateway bypass cable. I also have le4.0 obd2 adapter. I wanted to change the tire size to correct the speedometer since I upgraded to 35s in the last couple months. So after I did this I got a a bunch of errors and the I tried like the app said to intialize the abs. Then I restarted the ecus because I read that on their site and now my truck won't start at all. I found the recover tab today and performed this and also used the abs+esc disable for 1 key cycle. Now my truck will start at least finally and I have cleared the codes a ton of times now. But I still am throwing these errors every time I start the truck.

The koadtech cable is available. If you order one, it will ship the next day. This is despite his site perpetually saying they are out of stock. I have no clue why they do that...Thank you for the info.

Hmm.. 'implausible vehicle speed signal received' would maybe indicate to me a bad value input for the tire circumference? It should be in MM. I just updated my truck, 315/70R17's, as 2742mm. This tire calc helped me, but it doesn't seem to support 35's or 37's as a denominational size. So i would go to Tirerack or Discount Tire, find your tire size and see what they list in the specs for diameter, then input that here and make sure the input/output are configured correctly (likely inches for input, and MM for output) and try again with that circumference. Note that second calculator gave me a slightly smaller circumference when i put in the listed diameter for my tires (34.4") vs using the first w/ 315/70R17 - 2745mm vs 2742mm, I went w/ the lower.
Also, make sure you also follow the steps in this thread and change the circumference in both the 'set tire size' and for the tire size for ABS as well. I also just added (at the end of that thread) Brutal_HO's great step-by-step for clearing the errors after updating those two.

Hey all,
Anyone tried to change the temp that the truck will activate the "heat up" sequence at? Heated seats, steering wheel and so on, from factory is set to below 5C I believe - this is too dam cold! I want it on at below 12C or there abouts...... Is there an Alpha adjustment for this?

My 2024 2500 Big Horn has non-projector halogen headlights. I am going to upgrade them with a pair of Morimoto XB Hybrid LED units.
Do I need to do anything with AlfaOBD in the BCM to do this upgrade? Are there any options to select specific DRL's vs. using the stock low beams?

They are plug and play, no programming required. The daytime running lights tap into a fuse in the fusebox and are on with the truck. Cant be changed with settings. Also low beam doesnt get used as DTL.

Hi everyone, got setup with Alpha a couple weeks ago thanks to the info on here and other threads. Have a request for information, I’m gonna try and explain this as best as I can. I know how to turn off the white signature lighting completely, but I want to use the amber turn signals as “parking lights”. Not DRLs, but parking lights, similar to how the halogen Big Horn head lights are.
I basically want the lights pictured below to be on when I turn my headlight switch to parking light and headlight function. I don’t care if the signature lights come on with the headlights, I just don’t want them on when the light are “off” or in “auto”.

Only way to do that is with swapping some wiring around and utilizing some diodes.

I'm trying to make this change too and I'm hoping going to Body Control then back to Comfort works for me. But I have one question - this only applies to seat temps, correct? Or does this apply to the HVAC thresholds? Because that's what I'm really wanting to change.
