I remove mine because i don’t want it documented to void my warranty for some reason. Plus it only takes a minute to disconnect and reconnect. Just pop out the headlight control and you can see fine to access the bcm.The directions for the KAODTECH cable state it must be removed before taking the truck to a dealership for service. I let the dealer do oil changes and rotates because at this point in my life it works out better. No I don’t care for the fact that the lowest paid guy is wrenching on my truck but they’ve treated me well thus far. Do I have to remove this cable for that? I really only bought it to lower TPMS thresholds. I suppose I could make my changes and put things back to “stock”.
What are others doing? Thanks
