What did you do TO your RAM today?

Need some help here please to understand how you did it.
How did you work out the tyre size?
Is the tyre size changed in the transfer case or the instrument cluster?
Asking because I am getting rid of the standard tyres on my truck as they are crap and fitting 295/70/18 Maxxis Razr MT811

If you have a 2018 or newer you need a security bypass cable or Kaodtech cable , an obd2 programmer then alpha obd2 software (android) or jscan (iphone). then you can adjust the tire size to keep your speedometer correct. IMG_2379.pngIMG_2205.pngIMG_2379.png

Well, had me a senior moment a few days ago. Sooooo I changed my oil and filter. Getting ready to head south in a few weeks. Drained it and added just shy of three jugs of Rotella. 11 and a bit quarts, right? I checked the dipstip and it looked over full but figured the oil was still draining down and let it sit. Next day it was still over filled after sitting overnight. So I drained a quart out went on an errand and after shutting the truck down I waited an hour. STILL over full. Hmmm. Then the gods of enlightenment struck this old brain. In Kanuckistan, the jugs of Rotella are 5 LITERS. NOT 4 quarts. So I overfilled it by over three quarts. Duh. That is what I get for buying oil on both sides of the border. So I need to drain another two quarts out. Some days are just better then others.

Same happened to me, the mechanic put all 3 5 litre bottles of Rotella in. I checked it later and same as you ... too full. I took it back and he adjusted it. So the next time I bought the Valvoline Premium Blue in 4 litre jugs at the Cummins online store and after that oil change I used them to fill with the Rotella so he would not overfill it again.

Thanx mate.
I have a scan tool and I have security subscription.
I am trying to figure out in what control unit to change the tyre size lol, still figuring out what is going for what on my truck.

7 qts of PUP and a Napa gold filter. Didn’t bother rotating tires because they will be gone soon. Still contemplating tires.

Wife clipped one in her Challenger last year, $15k in damage and almost 2 months in the shop waiting for parts and being repaired. "Clipped" took out left front end, hood, fender and door. I have hit a dozen in the past 20yrs, thankfully only 1 has done enough damage to go to the shop for repairs.

Got some etching primer to spray it with and then doing a fine texture black bed liner spray. Also, looking at replacing the rear bumper as well and have it match the front.

Fun day in the shop, I was on one side doing this and a buddy was in the other bay working on his 3500 dually (GMC) doing a complete truck light replacement to LED, smoked lens and front bumper relocation brackets.

What is in the box in the very front of the pic and what jugs are behind the transmission liquid pouch to the left ?

It’s a BD 2-Low kit and more ATF since I serviced the transfer case and AS69RC.
