Stop Sale due to Grid Heater Relay Recall

My 2003 dually only had one recall in the 19 years I owned it as far as I can remember. That was for air bags.

yep...think my 03 was the same way.

my thinking for the past few years was that the 2016 had more recalls by itself than all my other vehicles i've owned combined. hoping the 2022 doesn't overtake the 16

FWIW it looks like the parts are flowing for the trucks covered under Phase 1 (2023s). Granger has apparently received parts for all their stop-sale 23s, mine will be installed today.

It's seems crazy. My dealer has no idea when parts are available, Ram tells me next fiscal quarter no parts available yet and on this forum some people are getting repairs made and receiving their trucks. The communication is not the best that's for sure.
The release will be on April 4th. We are doing this recall in phases, starting with the 2023 model year on down. More info on this will be provided soon.

I disagree...i ordered my '22 way before those that have '23's so i should be 1st in line at my dealership. Truck was ordered on July 8th and i still havent taken possession of it.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation on this, as our team is doing our very best on getting this issue resolved. Unfortunately, we are starting off the 13A recall in phases, starting with the 2023 model year on down so we are not backlogged. We do appreciate your feedback, as this is very important for us for any future implementation changes.

Yeah, I agree about the GC. My 22 has 1500 miles and has 3 pending recalls. Tranny vent, DPF sensor and the grid heater. I'm not worried about any of them, but still.....
We appreciate your patience on this, as we know that this can be frustrating. Should you wish to discuss the other recalls with us, please send us a PM.

The customer service side of my brain says it would be best to take care of those that have been waiting the longest 1st. Friday 3/31/23 will be 38 weeks since i placed my order and still dont have my truck.

Thanks, but I'd rather wait a bit, until the DPF sensors and longer dipsticks become more available. Might as well get all 3 done at once.

Wow you’re way more patient than I am. I would have jumped ship long ago. You deserve a medal

Brand new 2023, ordered Oct 20 2022. Picking it up this weekend. It's been sitting on the dealer lot since March 2
We're glad that you're able to pick your vehicle up soon. Thank you for your patience on this.

Yea, deliveries have not been swift. My 2500 took 50 weeks from when I ordered it. March 2022 to March 2023 !!!

Mine was delivered last Wednesday. Longhorn Mega Cab and no estimated pickup time do to the recall…. Dealer has more than a dozen waiting for the recall work
