Stop Sale due to Grid Heater Relay Recall

I just called FCA recall number and spoke to a man named Mike Haveeg. He told me it will be June or July before I can expect to see parts available at the dealership to fix the recall on my truck that is not being released from the dealer.
With something this agregious Stellantis should pay your monthly loan bill. June or July....what a bunch of crap. It's not like they have to invent the wheel.

It's seems crazy. My dealer has no idea when parts are available, Ram tells me next fiscal quarter no parts available yet and on this forum some people are getting repairs made and receiving their trucks. The communication is not the best that's for sure.

Talked to my sales guy today and he said there is still no fix or parts available

Possibly perhaps. It still shows no fix or parts available when i log on the mopar app
Yes but it's only because the fix/parts are being released in phases with the 2023s first up. The fix for your 22 is the same it's just that you'll have to wait a few more weeks for the fix/parts to be released for your VIN.

I disagree...i ordered my '22 way before those that have '23's so i should be 1st in line at my dealership. Truck was ordered on July 8th and i still havent taken possession of it.

Agree. I have a 22 I'm waiting on as well. Seems like they would fix the older ones first.

That makes perfect sense to me and it should be rolled out that way, but it isn't based on everything I can find on this forum. They are releasing the 2023's first with the 22s to follow. I saw another post (can't find it now) that showed the estimated release date for the phases. As I recall there was about a 3 week period between the 23 and 22 releases.

At the surface, I think prioritizing 2023s makes sense as many of them got stuck with a Stop Sale. Most 22s are already in owner possession. But it sounds like an oversight on Ram’s behalf that there are still 22s also impacted by the Stop Sale. I feel for you guys! You should def get priority over 2023 (assuming the fix is the same).

If I was in that boat, I’d be looking to see what Ram would do to make it up to me. Does not sound fair at all.

I got to visit it at the dealer today

Gotta wonder about their quality control. My truck is less than two years old and on its fourth recall. First the wheel studs. Absolutely crazy how no one at Chrysler thought to change the torque values in their service literature and owner's manual for ten years after switching to metric studs in 2012. Then the legendary grid heater relay. Two for that alone. Couldn't get it right the first time. Then the tailgate. Gotta wonder where their engineers got their credentials.

Yeah, I agree about the GC. My 22 has 1500 miles and has 3 pending recalls. Tranny vent, DPF sensor and the grid heater. I'm not worried about any of them, but still.....

I agree - my 2022 SO has three total so far...but in the same breath I think my 2016 3500 had at least 5-6 recalls as I remember it being something new every 4-6 months.
