What's the most annoying thing about your truck?

Got my new truck in April, essentially a replacement for the same trim truck 10 years older.

The new cloth driver seat in the Tradesman. It's like there's something wrong with the seat springs or clips underneath, something loose, it has an occasional "click" feeling while I'm driving. When I take off from a dead stop, or other dynamic changes like turns, I might feel it. It's intermittent, and inconsistent. After it happens once, I can bounce in the seat 5 times in a row and it won't occur.

I've even wondered if it's something in the suspension or drivetrain, like swingarms or driveshaft slop, transferring into the seat. But I don't think so. I can hear and feel those things differently, and similar to my old truck that didn't have this problem. I haven't taken the seat out or apart, and haven't asked a service tech to look at it yet.

If anyone else has noticed it, I'd be curious to hear.

I experienced that early on with my 75AE PW. I've either gotten used to it, or it went away now though.

It was odd for sure. Light enough that I almost wasn't sure it was real, but it definitely was. A single click in the seat is exactly how I'd explain it.

Mileage, so far. Not that my previous truck, a 2010 1500 Hemi, was too much better. I'm getting about 11.5 mpg right now. Hemi was about 14. Somehow feels worse than what it really is.

What truck is that?? 6.4 Hemi or 6.7 Cummins?

right now the most annoying thing about my truck is the front driveshaft at the transfer case is slinging grease all over....have an appoint on Wednesday to get it checked out. I gotta say I have had more issues with this truck in 21000 miles than I did on all my Fords trucks put together and more than my last 4 jeep wranglers combined.
double wammy. Front drive shaft needs replacing and rear Transfer case seal is starting to leak. Service writer said he would call me on Wednesday to let me know when the parts would be in but never heard back.

I'm a little annoyed by 3 things. 1 being i bought a big horn level c and i still don't get the proximity unlocking when all other manufacturers do it on lower models and the 2nd is passenger side doesn't have lumbar support even if it were manual. 3rd is the A/C but i hear there is a fix so it's not a huge deal.

define6450B679-EA46-4873-ACFD-95E14458DCF8.jpeg no big deal....

I still accidentally reach for the AC control thinking it’s the dial shifter.

When I get in other vehicles, I do the same thing and reach for the AC controls but they usually have a console shifter.

Miss the column shifter in the older RAMs.
I reach for the dial shifter and either grab the radio knob or the control knob for the A/C. Having to look down to change the shifter can create safety issues. I knew I would hate this shift setup when I ordered my truck but still preferred it over Chevy or Ford.

Current is Cummins and I range between 10.5 and 11.5
Oh wow! Is the stated mileage in the cities stop and go traffic with 4.10 DRW?
My HO is getting high tens but I don't live in a city so don't know how bad in there it will be
If you're getting 10.5-11.5 highways and not towing then something is seriously wrong with your truck

Ugh… thanks for that vote of confidence lol

I do a lot of combined city/hwy driving. I’ll talk to a local diesel mechanic I trust to see what he thinks

Actually I just reread your post. Not just highway at that mileage. It’s a combination of city/hwy driving.

Still sounds like a lot! I'd be talkking to pros and complaining to Stellantis if my truck was getting this horrible mileage.

I wonder why some have issues with it and some don't? I have been driving since the early 70's well actually since the late 60's (farm trucks) and never owned an automatic until the 90's. I figured it would cause me some headaches but I swear by the time I got it home from the dealership it felt completely natural. I have never once a single time hit the radio or ac knob. I like having the extra room losing the stalk shifter provides and now when I get in my wife's CRV with the floor shifter I wish it had a dial
