What did you do TO your RAM today?

Did the Carli pintop level with Thuren Sway Bar today. Raceline Clutch +12 offset 20x9 with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 37x12.5R20. Bak Revoler X4s cover as well. I have weather tech flaps, Husky mats and amp step to do tomorrow. Windo tint appoint Thursday... woohoo!
The wheel/tire combo you picked looks perfect. Nice

Did the Carli Stabilizer and decals, Weathertech Flaps, Amp research bed step and Husky floor mats today. FYI, if your picking up from Mark Dodge, make sure they remove the cable on the spare! Mine was still attached. Window tint tomorrow afternoon.

Mark Dodge adds that cable gratis. Apparently they see a lot of stolen spare tires.

They also throw on wheel locks too for free as part of their pdi.

Edit, looks like you cut it. My key was in the uppermost center console. (bucket seats)

I didn't have a key...

Fair nuff, I thought I didnt but it ended up being in the one storage compartment I completely missed. I had noted it but totally forgot to ask the sales dude about it on the lot.

Added window tint today and put her to work. About 2,400 lbs of flooring and about 250 lbs of other stuff. Barely knew it was there. View attachment 40033
Truck looks great. What percentage tint did you put on? I'm looking at doing the same when my truck finally arrives, atleast matching the rear side windows and probably %10 ceramic tint on the front windshield to help keep the truck cooler and block some additional UV rays.

20% I believe. Also did the ceramic on all but the windshield. Will do the windshield another day. He couldn’t do it today with all the cottonwood seeds flying.
Tints are very subjective to vehicle and interior color, 20% will look darker on a dark color car and it also looks darker on a dark interior car. and if you have both its a double whammy.

i used to do 50% front, but not my current tint guy has 70% and it really doesnt look like you have anything at all.
I have cars with 20% that looks lite and cars with 30% that look dark.
for me the main point is not to have to open windows when reversing at night, on this new vehicle it will be proper backup lights and the cameras will assist as well.

considering that i got patriot blue with black interior, i might do 70% front with 5% as1 line to further contrast the 70%. 30% front windows and 15% rear half.

What you plan to do with yours should be perfect. I purchased my last truck used and the previous owner installed 5% tint all the way around. While it looked great from the outside it absolutely sucked driving at night. I had a hard time reversing and also making sharp turns at night while driving on dark roads. On this truck I left the rear windows factory and added 20% to the front windows. The front and rears are very close to matching and I have no issues seeing at night.

similar plan here - though I'll probably just stick to the legal limit (whatever that is, i think it's 30-35%) on the front. Just need to figure out if i need a high % ceramic on the rears or if the factory tint blocks the various UVs well enough and reflects heat. I'm all about keeping the inside of my vehicles as cool as possible.

I am not sure if there is any truth to this but this is what my local tint shop said about ceramic tint. Originally, I wanted to have ceramic tint on my front side windows. My local shop stated to see any benefit from ceramic tint you need to have all windows done, simply doing the front side windows would not do anything as far as heat reduction inside the vehicle. My $.02 is if you want to keep your vehicle as cool as possible then spend the money and go ceramic all the way around. If your focus is to reduce heat and glare while driving I would go standard tint on all windows and place a ceramic film on the windshield. The only time I seem to notice the sun while driving is when its right in front of me, ceramic film should help out tremendously in these situations.

Just had my windows tinted Monday. I went 5% over the rear doors and rear window. 20% on the front doors. And a strip across the windshield. My tint dealer will not do the whole windshield on new rams. He said there’s so many sensors in the dash that could get could wet while installing tint. Other dealers may do it but I couldn’t fault the tint company for not wanting to buy sensors.

My local tint shop, that installs ceramic, said the same thing.... no sense in doing ceramic on it unless you do all windows and the windshield. I just did 20% on the front two today. Of course it's raining and 73 today but it looks great. Time will tell on how well it keeps things cool.

that's the plan. ceramic all the way round - but wasn't sure what the OEM windows have from the factory.

Exactly what my guy said also. He's a local guy, runs it out of his garage and was a referral from a friend so I believe what he said. Doubt he's making it up to make a few more bucks.

Yep - I did something similar. 90 “clear air” (3M product of I recall correctly) for windshield, and 35 on the rest. My primary objective was to cut down on UV sun damage.

Just adding some additional info for those considering tint. The tint shop I went to told me the same thing as above in regards to the front windshield, if you are adding ceramic tint to help out with UV protection and keeping the inside of the cab cool, you will need to do the front windshield as well and they recommended %90 on the windshield. I asked about having ceramic tint put over the factory tent on the back door windows and back window for the same reasons stated above but they said it would not be necessary.

I appreciate many of the comments about getting tint done on our trucks, they help with the toughest decision for me atleast, and that is getting the front door windows tinted to closely match the factory tint on the back doors but not make it too hard to back up or maneuver through parking lots at night. Considering how often I will be trying to back in my 5th wheel RV into a camp site at night after a long day of driving, I definately don't want tint that is going to make that harder. Thanks again for all the comments.
