What speed and what weight? Have to adjusted the tire size?Anyone with larger tires do a gear swap yet?
The 35s with the 6.4 have it struggling to stay in gear when towing at freeway speeds.
I haven’t seen much talk about gear swaps here so I’m guessing just getting the transmission shift points correct seem to do the trick.

I have a 2020 2500 6.4l adjusted, no issues with shifting towing 11k in the NH hills. https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...with-alfaobd-2020-power-wagon.3319/post-47157 follow the instructions for tire size and you'll be golden! I have done three trucks and all are right on.65-70 mph while pulling a total trailer weight (fulled loaded) around 7150 lbs. Tires are 325/60/18. 3.73 gears. I have not adjusted tire size using Alpha OBD.
During our trip this past weekend, it was really hunting for gears. I’ve been toying with the idea of changing gears but wanted to get others take on it. As in, is it worth it or should I just get the tire size recalibrated or get the Pulsar (or something similar).

Also keep in mind the circumference at full PSI vs. what you run. If you run lower than max PSI in the tire subtract a little bit.I appreciate the info! Time to go read the Alpha OBD thread as I know ZERO about it and what’s involved with it!

Beautiful truck. Love those steps too.Bought the truck last week, just installed N-Fab Podium steps, and got it professionally detailed and applied Adams graphene ceramic coating. It’s amazing how much better it looks than from the dealer lot, took my guy 2 days working between other cars.

I have been wondering about these! Have any more pictures of the overall truck with them on?Got these Bushwacker rocker panel covers installed yesterday. Nice design. I did have to unbolt the cab step and drill some holes through the plastic with a stepper bit, but it was straightforward. Thanks for the mod idea @elephantrider !
