Just jumped late into the order line. 2022 Power Wagon Level 3 with tow tech package and bed utility group. They were “out” of billet steel paint so I got granite crystal. Hope I see it before winter (or maybe I’ll just accept a MY2023 at that point)

They better not be out of that paint!!!! Assuming you mean billet silver.

I only assume from your name that you are out west, but my 5500 has been built since 3/13 as well and simply says "TRACOMEX SALTILLO YARD" with a shipping date of 3/13. Does anyone have any insight on what the deal is with shipping? My VIN #3C7WRNEL0NG240672 and headed to Phoenix. Was built in a fairly timely manner but now sits for over a month.

Yes they do I added those to my current Tradesman and changed the whole look of the truck IMO

I agree but I really like the 22 Big Horn grills (which is one reason I chose it)

Agreed. As much as I love the Longhorn grill, both the Big Horn (like above) and Limited have nicer options it seems. Thankfully, grills seem to be readily available on Facebook Marketplace.

We custom ordered a Ford Expedition in 2016 because we wanted a few options offered on the limited but did not want many of the options that came standard. So we started with an XLT and then "a-la-carte" selected the options we wanted, leather seats, sony sound system, rear captain seats, rear ac controls, no tv's in head rests, 20" wheels, dual radiators, 3.73 gears. Fits us perfect. But until last night I had never seen the idea to place a "custom order" advertised.

I've seen a few spots on TV as well... have heard a lot more of it on the local/regional radio stations....dealerships a couple months ago were really pushing it (all brands) but here recently the have backed off of the saying "come on in and order" as both Ford and GM have been having some major issues just getting orders pushed through...not really "new" news, but Ford announced a couple weeks ago that they wouldn't be taking anymore 2022 HD orders

Didnt know if anyone noticed or not but this forum has made it to page 1500. That is a lot of useful information passed on, rumors dissipated, and a few very very patient members still waiting for delivery. Good work admins and those in the know.
 
I sold the house over the weekend. Closing is May 10, and I'm picking up my 2021 Durango Gold 386FLF shortly after. I'll be Full-Time RVing, living the nomad life! I ordered my 2022 RM 3500 Limited Longhorn vin=3C63R3NL5NG245104, on 1/17. It went D1 on 4/4, but the ship date is now 5/11. It looks like I'll have to bail on order and pick up a truck somewhere else. House RAM Red Wing, MN, has been super supportive, examining every option, such as trading for similar vehicles from another dealer. They even offered to pick up the camper and deliver it wherever I needed it. Outstanding! I don't want to give up, but the reality is sinking in. Thank you to everyone that has provided commentary and support. Using this forum did reduce the stress level most of the time! I'll see you down the road!

I just contacted my dealer and asked them if I could delete the two things on my truck that are on this list and as long as its still D status it's possible so they gave the contact info for the guy their dealership deals with for orders, fingers crossed they remove the items from the order and get the truck built
