2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

If you’re in D1 does that list if restraints mostly only impact those is in D or not yet ordered?
If you're D1, all the parts have been collected and it's a matter of time before you're on the assembly line. Granted, you can regress to D status so it's possible, but seems unlikely.
I noticed it stated "June". My order is D. Is this June list for when scheduling builds that will be probably be built in June? Could this affect all outstanding D orders?

Nice truck. Congrats. Thanks for including the timeline.
But tbh, I'm looking at that white laramie night edition that is staring at your passenger side headlight. Mine went JS on 3/5, just like your 3500 LL. Could have been my 2500 laramie in the lot with ya. so close!

Ugh, I know! What gives on the delay?

I was talking to my buddy who just picked up a Denali 3500 off a lot here in Jax the other day. That truck has so many “deletes” on it due to lack of parts. Some of them he will have to return to the dealer for them to be added.

Wondering if your truck was completed, but needs an additional equipment that wasn’t available at time of production.

we ordered 2 trucks the same day both spec'd out the same just the color is different. Mine is supposedly (if it arrived on time) sitting in the rail yard waiting for a ride to the dealer, the other hasn't even been built yet Jan 10th orders from the same dealer. No rhyme or reason to Rams builds schedules..

Well folks, I just got to see the Stellantis June parts restraints list sent to dealers and anybody wanting to order soon is in trouble. They are struggling. Here are items from the HD List:

Mopar Options: Avoid these wherever possible. Increases ship time, delays, and is subject to more parts shortages.
Sunroof (all models): Avoid sunroof on all models.
Slush mats: Due to an industry wide shortage, please avoid Slush Mats on all models.
NOTE: As we progress through scheduling options may be added to this list.

I have one item on the list, the bed utility group. Status D since I ordered in December, is it possible to get an order changed while it's still in status D?

Could someone please check if my truck is on the train or not?
Ram Chat gave me ETA between 4/28 - 5/9
VIN 3C6UR5KL1NG244942
Thanks

I have multiple items on the list, Been at D1 since 2-23. original build date was 3/22, moved back, and now build date I was given is 5/4 now. Have fun fellas, it seams to be getting worse as we go.

So out of curiosity, what seems to be the average time from trucks being built, to the time they get shipped? Tomorrow I hit 31 days per the dealer and other members, just seems like a long time to "wait on a train ticket."

Interesting I'll be checking all seat hardware knowing this when I get mine in a few weeks. I had a lot of items on that list too. ordered Nov 9th that one was at the dealer mid March 2nd truck ordered dec 14th with even more options laramie b and tow tech group b on a train dealer eta 4 23 to 5/7. excited financing done navy fed 2.04 for 72 months and dealer swaers he can beat it to 1.9 for 72. we shall see on pickup day. still pissed they are making me buy the LoJack for 699 a 349.00 price tag on manufacturer web site. says it's on every truck they sell all though the difference is I special ordered the truck for me not the dealer.
What dealer is doing this to you?

It's really hard to say. It seems in late February / beginning of March there was an issue with rail car availability and it seems there has been a delay built in due to the backup. I'm wondering now though if some of these vehicles were produced with parts available (say 98% assembled), grouped together by what is needed, then finally completed prior to shipment. That would account for the "JS" codes for such a sustained period "awaiting vendor action".

they reached out to me for my LES already! these guys are on top of it. I just don't like the conflicting info for the warranties. Ziegler/Mopar they say is bad because you can only get work done at dealerships, and sometimes dealers won't warranty some items. The LDS warranty they're pushing at me is supposedly good anywhere, but the consensus I get on Facebook is "don't get the LDS". So, I'm seeing that they are trying to push a product they are most likely selling, but I am in the dark on this kind of stuff. I have never had the luxury of researching warranties prior to buying.
