Pulling a TT or 5er? Where/how are you mounting your screens for TTMS/Backup Camera/Garmin/Whatever?
I quickly found out that anywhere on the dash proper will block some of the windshield view a lot. I kind of find the center dash tray with12v cigarette lighter a bit useless, but not sure if there are any options. I've seen some custom creations but mostly on Ford F series dash trays. Have not seen anything useful for RAM. Just curious if anyone else has come up with a workable solution?
Thanks,
AJG

Look at Bullet Point Mounting Solutions, lots of options. Don’t have the phone or iPad mounted like that, that was from when I first installed them.

I’ve got a rear view camera screen for my TT that I had mounted on windshield. It did block the view, I took the mount off and put Velcro on the bottom and a strip in the center dash tray and mounted it there.

I have not purchased anything yet, but I was thinking about something like this for my TT rear camera screen. I thought it would fit in the well of the center dash pretty good. Looking forward to seeing what ideas other folks have.

So just below the Bean Bag item in my search was this gadget. This appears ideal as well. And for $9.

I attach my Haloview backup cam monitor and my 5th wheel TPMS monitor to my rearview mirror with cheap hair ties from Wally. Can't use the mirror for anything with the trailer behind you anyhow.

TPMS is battery operated. Haloview is 12v, so I tapped into vanity lights in visor. Pretty decent solution and didn;t cost much if I didnt end up liking.

Sure would like to see pics and a "how to" on that.

All great ideas. Going to play around with a 3D printer to see we can manufacture a 22mm ball mount for the 890 Garmin. We'll see how that goes.

If you are into 3D printing, you might want to read this guys thread on his solution.

Unfortunately, I ordered the Furrion setup which has no attachment points on either side as the Haloview. I would have to wrap around bottom and sides to hold it in place - a few more bends.

I use the Bullet point mounting system. I got tired of trying to figure out where and how to mount these things.

Hooked up the TT for the first time this weekend and towed it around the block. Look at what fits perfectly in the well on the dash.

I kind of wish I would have gone with the small screen for the Furion. That's a good spot for it.

Just curious. Do you remember the length of the arm that you used for your GPS? Setup looks similar to what I was thinking of.
Thanks

They are the standard 7cm Carbon Fiber arms using the Rubigrid dash mount. FYI I don't have a GPS , its a monitor for my trailer backup camera. The other one is a trailer tire monitor.

Thank you. Looks good. Ordered today. We'll see if it can hold three units - might have to put some support under the kevlar arms. TPMS for the trailer is phone app and comes with the trailer. When I looked at the disassembly of the RAM display, those two screws appear to screw in to about a 3/8 or 1/4 inch piece of plastic.
Thanks again.

Have the same frustration as you. I don't really like my solution but just traveled 3400 miles in the past two weeks with this setup. I can actually see out better than it appears with all these screens. In picture you will see:

iPhone 11Pro
TPMS monitor (battery powered)
8" Garmin GPS
5" trailer backup cam
and the 8.4" screen

All were useful during the trip.

I do have the BulletPoint mounting system and that's what my phone is on.

I thought the Rubigrid won't work with 19+ with a 12" screen display?

Have one on my 2020. Better visibility than I would have guessed. Backup camera, Garmin, cellphone with TireLinc. Held up on 4500 mile trip over rough interstates and didn't impede visibility forward. I have the 12" screen.

I wanted exactly the devices you have mounted. Any pic of them installed? The backup camera I'm thinking is the Haloview Byte Tango and that thing has a huge monitor
