2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I’m not of fan of the movement it allows. If you look at this
He contacted his cab and he actually shows a videos how how much back and forth movement it has due to the airbags in it.
I would love to just have a turn over ball in the bed but the Anderson will do fine for me.
A Winter Front on the front of the truck while pulling a large trailer...

Oh good Lawd!! Another Limited MC ordered 5 weeks after mine, with a build date! Congrats for you!

You probably have a build date too! You just don’t know which day it is yet because ram chat or dealer can’t see it

HOLD THE PHONE!

Could someone follow my logic and advise whether or not there are shenanigans afoot? Here’s the deal:
I’m scheduled to pick up my 2022 2500 Tradesman tomorrow from the dealer, and the tradesman has the snow chief package. The finance person, however, asked me if the truck would be used for personal or work.
When I asked him why it mattered, he said if it’s used for work, then my powertrain may not have the 5/60 warranty.
I asked him if it made a difference if I wasn’t getting an INCOME from it - but that it WOULD be used for plowing.
He said that having a plow probably qualifies as it being a “work” truck.
So… I pointed out that it didn’t make much sense to have the truck equipped FROM THE FACTORY with the snow chief package if I WASN’T going to be using it to plow… so it wouldn’t make sense for FCA to offer the 5/60 on ANY truck that had that package.

He simply said, “…good question. I’ll try to find that out.”

Any thoughts??

Tell them personal and move on with life (and 5/60) :)

I was told by my salesman that I could not change my order or cancel it.
Same. I ASSUMED my Bighorn was going to come with the Alpine system. Wrong. Very disappointed and the salesman says there's nothing to be done. I'm having a hard time with that since it went back to D status. Ordered 7/27

Go in there and say its personal. In some cases a commercial truck could qualify for different (Worse) interest rates, Not always though its lender specific.

Yeah, might have to tell them personal. Here is what the warranty states...

1. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS UNDER THESE LIMITED WARRANTIES The warranties contained in this booklet are the only express warranties that FCA US LLC ("FCA US") makes for your vehicle. These warranties give you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. For example, you may have some implied warranties, depending on the state where your vehicle was sold or is registered. These implied warranties are limited, to the extent allowed by law, to the time periods covered by the express written warranties contained in this booklet. If you use your vehicle primarily for business or commercial purposes, then these implied warranties do not apply and FCA US LLC completely disclaims them to the extent allowed by law. The implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose does not apply if your vehicle is used for racing, even if the vehicle is equipped for racing. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Edit: but that is for "implied warranty" by state...so not sure how that applies to you in your state or anyone who buys a new vehicle. He might be taking that out of context...

This may have been asked, but couldn’t find the answer in a search. My truck is finished and in storage with an estimated ship date of 9/26. What’s the average transit time to the Midwest?

I have a trip I would sure love to use this truck for on October 13th. But seems that may be a little optimistic.
