Maybe I’ll keep my loaded Laramie MC for a year and sell it back for a ‘23 when they do the updated cabs on the 2500s
Been seeing posts that it's going to be 2025 before we see a cab update, but who knows anymore. <shrugs>

If that's the case, then those loaded tech trucks will definitely be more desirable.Been seeing posts that it's going to be 2025 before we see a cab update, but who knows anymore. <shrugs>
I hadn’t heard that but even if it’s true, I’ll be more than happy to keep the truck I ordered. It would take a lot for me to part with it. My plan was for this to be the truck that gets me to retirement since I only put about 15k miles a year on a vehicle.Been seeing posts that it's going to be 2025 before we see a cab update, but who knows anymore. <shrugs>
The scary part about this is there may be more truth than we want to know...View attachment 21467
I don't care who you are, that's funny right there...
Who knows…. Maybe I’ll have a loaded ‘22 3500 CC Laramie for sale soon!!!If that's the case, then those loaded tech trucks will definitely be more desirable.
It would be my luck of If I bought a 21 off the lot, then my truck would come in wright after thatI’m just curious how long they hang onto your money with no movement on the truck whatsoever. At someone point you gotta think okay this truck isn’t getting built. Or maybe not?
Probably get a good trade in value for that 21.It would be my luck of If I bought a 21 off the lot, then my truck would come in wright after that
My retirement vehicle also,no Gen 5 for meI hadn’t heard that but even if it’s true, I’ll be more than happy to keep the truck I ordered. It would take a lot for me to part with it. My plan was for this to be the truck that gets me to retirement since I only put about 15k miles a year on a vehicle.
Mine too. Also Ford had the same cab for like 17 years I think. My retirement vehicle also,no Gen 5 for me
My 2020 2500 Laramie was going to be my retirement truck until the trade in prices went up. Now my 2022 2500 Limited will be my retirement truck…. Well once it arrives…Mine too. Also Ford had the same cab for like 17 years I think.
Mine as well.Mine too. Also Ford had the same cab for like 17 years I think.
I bet there are a few.How many Ford and GM guys are watching this forum due to the chip issues they have.
I’m hoping my ‘22 last me that long. I’m 34, soon to be 35 lolMy 2020 2500 Laramie was going to be my retirement truck until the trade in prices went up. Now my 2022 2500 Limited will be my retirement truck…. Well once it arrives…![]()
I use to work on Fords at a dealer and I own a Ram. What does that tell you?You know that old adage about "a bird in the hand". I have never owned a Ford so I can't say anything bad about them but, they are #1 in truck sales.
I have had 4 Rams with sunroofs and have never had a problem.I feel that if this was the experience for everyone, Ram wouldn’t offer sunroofs or they would find a way to make them work. Is it something he’s doing to cause the leaks?
I got fortunate and found a Ranger my wife wanted 3hrs away in Crosby on the showroom floor. Salesman I had been talking to searched for me and told me where one was. 2021 Ranger Lariat Tremor w/technology package in Cactus Grey. Everything we looked at that was inbound had significant delays. Just like with the HD trucks, they pull them off the line and hold them awaiting chips...6 months out. 2022's can be ordered next month...I bet there are a few.
The next Ram might change my mind, and there is always that lottery thing...Mine too. Also Ford had the same cab for like 17 years I think.

Honestly i dont see an issue with the current cab, and i dont see a point of Ram investing to update the cab to be the same as the 5th gen 1500's. ive owned 2 1500's and its really not that special. Its just a couple more inches of space and a flat floor. They would save money by not needing re-tool machines and all of the other stuff they would need to do to update the cab and just stick with this one for another couple years. When they come out with the 6th gens is when it would be smart to update. A new transmission to replace the 68rfe on the other hand would be good to get rolling anyone of these years except next because that would make me mad i bought one this year. lolBeen seeing posts that it's going to be 2025 before we see a cab update, but who knows anymore. <shrugs>
Me too. Have had 3 Rams with sunroofs, love them.I have had 4 Rams with sunroofs and have never had a problem.
