What Is Your Favorite Configuration For The New Model Year?
Yesterday, we shared all the new details about the updated 2025 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty lineup. Since then, Ram has updated the Build & Price configurator on RamTrucks.com, giving us a chance to explore all the new options for the 2025 Heavy Duty models. Here are our top five builds for the new model year:
1.) 2025 Ram 2500 Tradesman Power Wagon 4×4 –
The entry-level Power Wagon package for the 2025 returns with a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $64,400, including $1,995 for destination charges. Updates for the new model year include standard LED reflector headlamps, an 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). These additions enhance the value and modernize the features of the Tradesman.
The Tradesman Power Wagon continues to offer the off-road technology that sets it apart. It comes equipped with 17-inch x 8-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, a 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 4.10 axle ratio, Tru-Lok® front and rear axles, a front electric winch, and Ram Articulink® suspension. Additional features include skid-plate shields, a raised ride height, performance-tuned shock absorbers, and LT285/70R17D OWL all-terrain tires, ensuring capability on any terrain. Buyers can further personalize their truck with one of 16 low-production colors for an additional $500, giving their Tradesman Power Wagon a unique look.
2.) 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Sport Regular Cab 4×4 –
Regular Cab trucks are becoming a rarity as more buyers gravitate toward family-friendly Crew and Mega Cab models. However, for those who appreciate the simplicity and sporty appeal of a two-door pickup, the Regular Cab still offers a unique charm. It’s an excellent choice for empty nesters or drivers who don’t need the additional seating but want a truck that combines style and capability. The 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab takes this concept further with the option of a 6.7-liter Cummins inline-six-cylinder turbodiesel engine. Boasting 430 horsepower and a remarkable 1,075 lb.-ft. of torque, this powertrain provides outstanding performance and versatility in a compact package.
To elevate the truck’s appearance, Ram offers the Sport Appearance Package for an additional $495. This package includes sleek black interior accents, a body-color grille surround, and painted front and rear bumpers for a cohesive, aggressive look. A bold “Sport” decal further emphasizes the truck’s sporty persona. For those who value practicality and performance wrapped in a stylish design, the 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Regular Cab with the Sport Appearance Package stands out as a compelling choice.
3.) 2025 Ram 2500 Big Horn Night Edition Crew Cab 4×4 –
The Big Horn Crew Cab with a 6-foot, 4-inch box and four-wheel-drive (4×4) configuration remains one of the most popular choices among Ram 2500 buyers. It strikes a perfect balance between size, capability, and versatility, making it ideal for a wide range of uses. For those looking to enhance their truck’s style, the Night Edition package has become a sought-after option. Priced at $1,995, this package adds a host of bold, blacked-out features that elevate the truck’s visual appeal.
The Night Edition includes 20-inch x 8-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, black exterior badging, black interior accents, and black wheel center hubs. The package also features a matte-black grille with gloss-black accents, a body-color grille surround, painted front and rear bumpers, and LT285/60R20E OWL on/off-road tires, giving the truck a rugged yet refined look. To opt for the Night Edition package, buyers must also equip their Ram 2500/3500 Big Horn (Lone Star) with either the Level 1 or Level 2 equipment packages, priced at $2,695 or $5,195, respectively. Together, these options transform the Ram 2500 into a stylish and highly capable truck that stands out on the road.
4.) 2025 Ram 3500 Laramie Night Edition Mega Cab 4×4 in Ceramic Gray –
If you want the sportiest trim matched with luxury, the Laramie package is for you. For 2025, Ceramic Gray paint returns, now available on Laramie models, as well as on Rebel and Power Wagon trims. However, to get this color on a Laramie at no extra charge, you must configure the truck with the Night Edition package according to the Build & Price configurator. This, of course, requires upgrading the Laramie to either a Level 1 or Level 2 equipment package, which adds $1,795 or $4,895, respectively.
5.) 2025 Ram 2500 Rebel Crew Cab 4×4 in Ceramic Gray –
Ram showcased the Ceramic Gray color on its Lunar Edition versions of the Power Wagon and Rebel, and for 2025, this popular color returns to both models. What makes this addition even more appealing is that Ceramic Gray is now offered at no additional cost. Unlike some other features, there’s no requirement to upgrade to a Level 1 or Level 2 equipment package to select this color.
The inclusion of Ceramic Gray enhances the sporty and aggressive styling of the Power Wagon and Rebel, making them stand out even more in the 2025 lineup. Its striking appearance adds a fresh, modern edge, ensuring these off-road-focused models continue to turn heads.
