One of the most attractive packages for the Ram Heavy Duty pickups has to be the Night Edition Appearance Package available on Big Horn and Laramie models. Since the package’s introduction late last year, the HDRams.com and MoparInsiders.com mailboxes have been flooded with e-mail asking when would the Ram 3500 be available with the Night Edition package. Yes, Ram launched the Ram 2500 Night Edition pickups late in the 2019 model year but held off till the 2020 model year to launch the package on the 3500 models.
Well, the wait is over. Over the past few weeks, Ram 3500 Night Edition packages have been arriving on dealer lots across the United States.
The Ram Heavy Duty Night Editions, includes a monochromatic design enhanced by a black grille with body-colored surround, black badging and black 20-inch aluminum wheels. For the first time, Ram Heavy Duty trucks equipped with dual rear wheels now get 17-inch black wheels with machined pockets. The headlamps and taillights feature dark bezels.
The Ram Heavy Duty Night Edition is available on Ram 2500 and 3500 4×2 and 4×4 Crew Cabs and Mega Cabs with a choice of 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 or renowned 6.7-liter Cummins I-6 featuring the highest available torque at 1,000 lb.-ft. The 2020 Ram Heavy Duty Night Edition has a starting U.S. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $50,185 on 2020 Ram 3500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4×2 Night Edition, including destination.
